My French partner introduced me to the brand 2 years ago. The bag looks brand new and I even wear it to the beach and stuff it in luggage when I travel and it keeps its shape. Un mini is the one I have. Onze plus douze on my radar. Fingers crossed Amazon doesn’t take over the planet lol.

I have numero un and numero un mini and they are just perfect. I was trying to find a good bag with minimal branding that I could wear for years and Polene are perfect for that. Also I feel quite cool because you really can't see anyone walking around with Polene bags where I live. My only con is that it can be a little difficult to really tell the color so I sugest going online to see more pictures and video.

I definitely agree! I think they use a lot of filters to fit their branding so the colors may not show up exactly like the site but I've never been disappointed by the colors

I’ve been eyeing the dix for forever!! I just can’t decide between the monochrome black color and the monochrome black textured. I totally get what you mean!! I loved the contrast stitching on the smooth leather but I also throw my bags around so I chose the grained leather. The grained leather is super durable! I don’t have anything from them in smooth leather tho☺️

I have the Numero Sept. A beautiful bag. I bought mine last year in black. I am looking at other styles now offered by Polene. I have heard rumours of quality problems which came along with their hefty price hikes. Looking at used bags to avoid problems.

I’ve been debating between the number 10, the kate spade smile bag and the coach Bailey 😩 all very similar and I literally cannot make up my mind . The one thing that worries me with the number 10 is the excess strap that hangs down, do you feel like they’re constantly trying to slip out ? Or slipping up and creating an unnecessary loop ?

I have a question. I have four Polene bags and love them but the last one I was super dissapointed on the colours they present on the website vs what has arrived. First number 7 white, looked super white online and then greyish in person. I returned it for the olvive green and again not the same as in the website. Agree on the strap of Numero 7, it looks great, but it’s not a great strap and it keeps slide of my shoulder all the time when I use mine… still love the bag, but the strap does keep sliding down…

I think they both fit about the same! The numero un fits a lot more than you think it does! I have the 10 set as a shoulder bag at the moment and i love it, but of course the numero un is set to a crossbody so it's not budging when worn crossbody

@@sarahmeck9094 honestly this is such a tough question! I like that the Dix is a little bit more on trend with the shoulder bags, but has the versatility of being a longer crossbody bag as well. HOWEVER, the Un is kind of a staple Polene bag. If I could only choose one, It would be the dix.

I’ve taken it to Mexico twice and Utah in the winter. Beach or snow ❄️ there are no marks scratches or indentations. The price point is good for a first buy. I wanted to try a small item before diving in since I’m in LA. I’ll be in Paris in October so I’m saving to go buck wild in the Champs Élysées store. Maybe I’ll make a vid and expose my loot lol.

Just ordered my first one very excited and yes LV dust bags are a dissapointment. The little straps that are built into hold straps are called keepers at least those of us who have saddles in horses know that they are called keepers

i don't own the bag myself but i'm pretty sure the crossbody strap on the #1 nano is removable. you just have to unbutton it and slide the strap out

People compare everything to Amazon and don’t realize the damage they are doing to the middle class and how many counterfeit items they are receiving because there is absolutely no quality control or surveillance of authenticity. I see reviews of general products from sports brands like Nike and Adidas and others like Coach and Lululemon that report receiving fake items. We made Bezoz rich enough to send himself to space whilst not recognizing we are not supporting small businesses that create beautiful hand made items of quality and authenticity because we don’t want to pay for shipping. It takes 18 hours to make one Polene bag let that artist eat and feed his family. 20 is nothing when you compare the cost of machine made luxury bags that are simply assembled in the EU but mostly fabricated in sweat shops. (In February 2008, a lengthy article from the Los Angeles Times, entitled, “Slaving in the Lap of Luxury,” for instance,declared, “There are products made completely in Italy but by Chinese immigrants without proper documents and [for whom] labor conditions are especially nasty.”The Times’ Tracy Wilkinson painted an ugly picture about the realities of these Chinese-run factories that were actively supplying luxury brands, writing, “Italian financial police have shut down many factories after raids exposed poor living conditions [within the factories], lack of residence permits for foreign nationals and the failure to pay taxes) The Polene price point is for the French to afford it they don’t live on credit like we do. Polene knows its market base and I would like a guilt free purchase.
