It has hyaluronic acid which requires damp skin and moisturizer over top of skin or else it will take the moisture from your skin. Explains the drying under the uncreamed eye. When they chuck hyaluronic acid in cosmetics, they should definitely tell you how to optimize use.

OMG same!! Especially because I have oily skin but dry under eyes. I have been trialling putting on a bit of eye cream just before concealer or colour corrector but still no joy 😭

The best one I have tried is the Rimmel Multitasker concealer. Great price and fantastic coverage, I only use a little for a more natural look so it lasts ages🥰

I’ve personally given up on finding a concealer that works for me 😭 I just layer my foundation under my eyes. My dry skin has been my enemy for many products working for me, even with eye and face creams.

I love that you did a full wear test. There’s so much hype around this concealer! I’ve tried pot concealers and I loved the coverage but HATED how matte they were (Kevyn Aucoin, NARS) Liquid ones are nice on application and look so natural but get patchy on me throughout the day. I hope I can get this in my country one day :)

I have this concealer in the tan 9 w. I haven’t found anything in the market that matched my undertones and adjusted to my skin as this concealer. I was a skeptic at first but I was very curious Bc I heard 60 shades. With range like that and I have olive skin, I thought there was nothing left to lose. It’s emollient and lightweight but full coverage and sets well and wears well. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a good concealer

I have bought "darkening" concealers from other brands before and it always made me laugh when the supposedly "darkening" shade is lighter than my skin tone, so I can't explain how glad I am that there's a pure black with this launch!

It’s nice to see a review on a good pot concealer 😊 and the wear test was great too. I always like to see not only first impressions but also the wear tests. Sometimes a product can be beautiful right after application and then only stay nice looking for an hour or two 😑 on the other hand, I’ve had concealers and foundations that I’m not entirely happy with on application but then as it sinks into my skin it looks better as the day goes on. I found this to be true with the new ELF Halo glow skin tint. I am very fair and got the lightest shade. It seemed still too dark for me. But after blending it in and waiting a while it seemed to adjust to my skin tone nicely. Anyway, love your reviews and your content! Keep on shining! ❤️💫🌟

I ordered the Milani Under Eye Tint after Robert’s review, too. He was so excited about the product that I had to try it. Got it in pink though I wasn’t sure if I should have done pink or peach for my under eye shadows on light neutral skin. Haven’t tried it yet but fingers crossed. Hope it works great for you.

I haven't tried much from rem but I had to give this a try due to the shade options! The shade light 3c is PERFECT for me! I really like how this wears on me too. I hope they come out with a foundation in the same shades. I was very impressed because I know rem hasn't gotten the best reviews.

I would love to see something like a "product wars" or "product roundup" where you compare different concealer brands and talk about the pros and cons of each and which you would recommend for different purposes, skin types, etc. Might be a nice series to compare similar products of different brands if you're interested in doing that?

I know everyone was clowning on Ariana grande, for the look of the original launch. But I got to admit like the majority of this stuff that she's put out even that original launch, I honestly could see her using which is my biggest indicator of whether or not I actually want to check out a celebrity brand. Those are all products I could see Ariana grande herself using, just like all the Fenty products I could easily see Rihanna using. Not to mention like I kind of like that she's going for more simple looks, yes I still love giant pallets, and some crazy lip colors, but but I appreciate the simplicity in her products. I can honestly see someone displaying her products quite easily, and it looks like from what I've seen her products are a little more about practicality as opposed to presentation. By that I mean like those original eyeshadows I can see someone very easily throwing that in their purse, you're not going to throw a giant palette from morphe or wet and wild or colourpop in your purse. And honestly after the pandemic I kind of think a lot of people are just looking for simple straightforward makeup looks right now as opposed to like a crazy cut crease or a really intense lip look or what have you.

How? There’s 60 shades! And there’s also a pure white concealer that if you find a concealer with your right undertone you can mix it in with the white concealer to make it more brighter/lighter of a shade

I anticipate if it was set with powder it’d crease. I recently invested in Milani’s long wear setting spray which makes me wonder if using one of the long wear setting sprays would keep it from looking cakey and creasing.

Try the Bobbi brown concealer, it’s a bit expensive but it covered all my hyperpigmentation from acne scars, didn’t seem to crease and was thick but somehow not caky. It lasted all day for me and was a radiant finish.

I had a concealer that was too light, and I added black to darken it. It turned grey before it was a good shade for my skin tone. If you have a shade too light, I would stay away from the black, but if it’s your shade to begin with I’m sure it would be fine.

the black to darken is best used for dark skin tones, it will not work for light ones, not even remotely.

I think this would be something I would only use for spot concealing and not under eye, I tried it in store and it felt far to dry for under eye. It looks very similar to the nars soft matte concealer

Om a peachy/red undertone and super pale, so always the lightest or 2nd lightest shade. Might have to try this one out, especially since they have the white to lighten up a shade of needed.

I am so heartbroken this didn’t work for me ☹️ I’m not someone who applies a lot of concealer under my eyes and I even tried setting and not setting. Each time it bunched under my eyes and looks like in some areas it disappeared and migrated into specific areas and gathered 😪
