Jonghyun wrote this song. So the singing style they sing resembles his singing style a lot. Because of that, whenever I listen to this song, I feel like I can hear his voice, and that make me…so miss him a lot. There is also a version that he sang as the original composer and singer. The reason it was baekhyun's high note was because it's the Korean version of the song, but i think you should check out the Chinese version because there chen is charged on the high note there. And also it was written by jonghyun from shinee, it's was written so beautifully that you can notice it could fit him so well, and i saw it especially when it came to baekhyun's soft high note there

@@exoweareone1557 I love this song and EXO (official) version is really good, it's one of my favorite songs by them but your comments are kind of unecessary, no offense. Let us appreciate and be proud of Jonghyun's legacy and work that he left, I don't think the original comment was trying to say that EXO version is bad or anything and we are entitled to our opinions. Both versions are somewhat different but great nonetheless. At the same time, I think it's just natural that Jonghyun knew how to sing it and express his emotions in this song on a more personal level since it's his ideas and his creation. Remember that it wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for him or it might have sounded completely different if it wasn't for his guidance on how to sing it.

@@Lawol it's not unnecessary... OP's question is valid, don't take it negatively like they meant it in a bad way or anything. Sure Jonghyun was a great vocalist & he's the one who directed it. But at the same time, EXO's vocalists KNOWS to be sexy & seductive in so many other songs that Jonghyun didn't direct. Bcus the way some people here *phrasing* their words is as if EXO didn't know how to do it & only succeed bcus it's Jonghyun who directed them. Which is not 100% true. Rmmber, a good director can only success when they're directing good singers. Which is why some of us questioning the statement "more depth vocally" like what do u mean by "depth"? It's just a song about being a playboy sung in sexy way, & they're both done it amazingly. I don't think there's any level of depth in there lol. Hope u don't take my comment as being shady or anything. I'm just being honest & curious.

Yesss it's such a Jjong song. His performance is also heart felt, he knows how to play with his voice effortlessly and convey the emotion. It's amazing how it's just one person but his version doesn't come short to EXO's in any way, to the contrary I'd say it's even more vocally and emotionally dynamic. If he had kept it I can totally see Playboy as a bside on album like She Is.

The first time I heard this song, it was in the Exo concert videos. When i sow the Sexy dance with their amazing voice And the addLip from baekhyun and kyungsoo and chen high note, the rap You can't help but fall in love with all of them.
