I think Jonghyun's voice is not for everyone, and tastes are tastes, what he can do with his voice is rare and many singers would love to know or have the ability to do that, he uses his voice as an instrument. yes it's a grower. you'll get addicted to it with few more listens. jonghyun's artistry is complex and so the structures of his songs. and that's what i like about him. his musicality is unique and i highly admire and appreciate it.

@@allk5729 Yeah, I'm aware of that he hurt many people in his lifetime. So even if he is in a good place, I think he should apologize to those who are hurt by him. In my opinion, Jonghyun and Iron lived very contrasting lives but the fact that they both commited suicide in the end made me sad and complicated. I'm sorry if you're offended by my comment.

I understand you said emotion means sadness to you, I'm not an English speaking person and maybe I'm wrong. But emotion means any kind of feeling right? sadness for sure, but also happiness, fear, anger, love, passion, loss and so on the emotion can be positive or negative. Maybe I'm wrong and yes, besides his amazing unique vocal Jonghyun has the ability to convey whatever emotion he feels when he sings And to me that's what makes him so special, a lot of singers are technically good and have nice voice but not everyone can convey that raw emotion, and not just Jonghyun but all the members of SHINee And for me is what makes them so special

I still haven't totally gotten his musical taste, but I actually think he wouldn't like any of Jonghyuns songs. I hope he can keep reacting and maybe he will like some! All of Jonghyun's songs are a masterpiece so I hope he finds at least some he could relate to

@@shinl6732 i mean, Jonghyun has a wide range of musical genres/styles/even singing styles in his discography, i'm sure there are something for Aaron too. he only has heard 2 songs from his solo discography. personally i think that Poet|Artist and She Is albums are more for his taste

@@shinl6732 okay, from what i've noticed... the mood of the song is important for him, he usually likes dark/sensual/agressive songs, but the instrumental is more important. he prefers more modern production style, especially if there's some bass. he likes ballads too, but not the ost type of ballads. he doesn't like drums and chimes and likes piano/violin/guitar. i might forgot something lol
