It also seems like there were few scenes in that set that were the girls actual reactions, there was also a scene after the bed breaking where they were laughing and Wendy clapping, definitely didn't seem scripted/acting, the director/editors were geniuses for including genuine moments like that, they're so fun

I think many people misinterpreted the reference of Midsommar, too much attentions on the horror thing, but the message of this song is "be with us", at beginning they are excited when someone/anyone fall into RV's world, to the end they have this big festivities, also lyric like "stay a little longer ... riding your rhythm .. come with me... love is cosmic.." It's perfect song for their 10th anniversary, and now it's my No.1 RV song, like it more than Psycho and Kingdom come

History - MV is inspired by Midsommar (The Movie). The film is inspired by the Swedish tradition of celebrating the summer solstice. The summer solstice is the most beloved and familiar tradition of Sweden, its home country, all are in a good mood. Fairycore, mysterious forest vibrations, June 19-26, summer nights are considered “magical, mysterious and dark”, it is believed that during this period it is performed "human ritual", which is reaized in the minimal details, Propacine to plans the power of “healing” and can also predict the future, while the young people, you have to reap silently so as not to break the magic, 7 different species of flowers and put under the pillow to dream of your beloved that will be sent (randomly) the next day by the cosmos to the sacrphic, (so a man falls from the sky at the beginning of the fully stunned MV, and the girls run to catch him). I'm really tired about the fact people only know about midsommar/litha through the Midsommar horror movie. At least redvelvet clearly recognize they reference the movie, not the celebration and at least the movie was produced in Sweden where Midsommar is actually celebrated. But midsommar or litha is not just a cult movie, it's an actual celebration for lots of people especially in east europe and for some wicca community if I'm correct. The real thing isn't creepy at all, it's a beautiful celebration and I'm sad people now only see it has horror and cult stuff because of this movie :/
