Fun fact: this is the longest Killing voice episode ever made. It was originally longer with 40 minutes but they had to cut some songs out (like Zoo, So good, ladies night and Rbb) and the girls said they wanted to make a second part because of all the songs left out. Just proves how good RV's discography is

The reason why Red Velvet's songs are so hard to cover is that all of their voices are like very distinct instruments to layer and play off each other. All parts of a perfect whole. It's what makes them unique, and just so good.

ZZB, the damn cult song of Reveluvs in R2V world tour. Out of words, Red Velvet for me is legendary already, they stick with their concept and never follow trends, they create their own trends. Just like One of These Nights, when everybody launch a bright song, they launched one of the most wonderful ballads and won awards here and there. They are one of a kind.

After NCT 127, this is the most satisfying Killing Voice from SM groups. EXO was good but their video should have been longer and should have sing some of their b-sides like how RV did it. Anyway, RV bringing 33 mins of pure vocals was CRAZY! They really should have part 2 because all songs from RV are just HITSSSS.

If only Joy's got confidence in her belting she sounded fuller than Wendy's bright sound. I like high notes with a weighty powerful sound than a bright thin one. The bright tones got their spots but not as awesome sounding as the ones with a full powerful sound. A break glass/ear vs earth/heart pounding comparison if you will
