The song is simple but it's designed to create a mood and it does that not just by what is said, but by the underlying unspoken words which are reflected in the facial expressions and subtle movements of the girls. The lyrics are not sinister but the mood the song conveys is, and it definitely fits with the nightmare series especially because it was on The End of Nightmare album along with Piri.

For me, the meaning of the lyrics seems to be someone who is trying to find their way out of a one-sided crush. They keep searching for their love, but there isn't anyone left to help them...Not even the crush themselves. Such a sedate and beautiful song. I think everyone forgets that when Dami was part of Minx, she sang. Sometimes peoples rapping voice & singing voice are very separate things. I love her singing voice. It's so smooth. We have heard it before, in the early songs, but it gets overlooked when next to Sieon and JieU.

But one of their lyrics said "Through this fog, towards myself. And then there was no one left." Sounds more like they're losing themselves and are yearning to go back to their old self maybe. But they're stuck in a deep and dark maze of emotions they're struggling to get through. They have a sliver of hope, which I think are depicted by the stars they guide themselves towards to. But when they reach the end, the person themselves they once knew is now gone. They're now a new them. I dunno but that's what I got from it.

Not that JiU doesn't make everyone smile, buuuuut, I'm pretty sure she's your bias. Onto the lyrics; it's something about being stuck in a loop, you're in a dream trying to reach an end and just when you've seemingly reached an escape everything falls apart, like nobody was left. Because not only is that how the lyrics go but also the rhythm and the beat? I feel like even the song is sort of stuck in a loop for the same reason with very minor changes. Lastly, Dami's vocals on this. *Chef's kiss

Yep, looks like your bias has found you. 😉 Sometimes you see someone and your brain just goes "YOU". That's how Siyeon grabbed me with her gummy worms... 🥰 I had a look, and I don't think there's a behind the scenes for this; nowadays, if they don't put them in the video itself (like Red Sun, Sahara, and Poison Love), they'll have a Dreamcatcher's Note about the filming. But all the Notes around this time are about the Piri promotional circuit (however, that does include their adorable bonding with CLC when they shared a green room, and now they're all fast friends)... There is _nothing_ I don't love about this song and video, from the surprising Dami vocals (they caught most of us off guard when we first realised), that _funky as all heck_ bassline, to the ingenious video. The girls just sit there looking stunning, barely even moving, a little clever camerawork... and I am mesmerised _every time..._ 😵😍
