Stray kids is a self-producing group and all their songs are produced and written by their sub-unit 3racha(Chan, Changbin and Han), this song was made by 3racha too for their 1st mission during their survival show. Changbin named this song "Hellevator" which means they were in hell(trainee period) but now they're going up through an elevator to fulfill their dreams. This is their 1st song as Stray kids, this is not their debut song but still this song is really important to them.

He's Han Jisung, one of Stray Kids's MAIN RAPPER but he can also be Main Vocalist material, he's in 3RACHA: the produce subunit in Stray Kids, he was the first member that went to King of Masked Singer actually, he's such and all rounded boy : he can act, sing, rap, write, compose, has charisma and it's such a sunshine and funny boy and he's only 20 years old!

To be honest, the whole Woojin situation is complicated. No one has any proof, no one from Stray Kids or JYPE has said anything, but everyone jumps to conclusions because of some anonymous tweets, palm reading and clips out of context. I prefer not to talk about Woojin at all, not saying that he's bad or good, until someone can prove that he's one or the other. I just can't stand that people are so eager to hate on others so easily and without the actual, valuable evidence. That's scary to me..
@K0108-x8y4 жыл бұрын
Well, whatever happened, it's quite obvious that they aren't on good terms and that he had to have done something in order to leave jyp the way he did.
@lynn4ya4 жыл бұрын
@@K0108-x8y yep, but I'm not sure if the scale of his doings was as big as others portrayed it to be. Like, that one Day6's member left in a similar manner to Woojin, but his mistake was that he had a girlfriend who then leaked some info about the group. Has he betrayed the trust and broke the rules? Yes. Has Woojin betrayed their trust? Probably. But if it was as immoral (and illegal) as those accusations say, I don't believe Bang Chan or JYPE would be silent and just.. let him go like that to start over.
@K0108-x8y4 жыл бұрын
@@lynn4ya Well it‘s been known for a while actually on Kstay twitter that Woojin went clubs and bars while in stray kids. And women only server clubs are strictly prohibited in jyp. Jyp himself said, if you set one foot on one of those clubs/bars you‘re getting kicked out no matter what. So he probably went to a bar like that. Is it illegal ? no. Is it morally right? not really..
@lynn4ya4 жыл бұрын
@@K0108-x8y I can believe that, because I know how many kpop idols go to the bars and how sensitive about his rules is JYP, but I just can't stand when people are saying all those crazy stories that I don't even want to mention. Because I don't believe that at Woojin's age he shouldn't have a chance to get better and prove himself, but now he can lost it. And I wasn't going to support him anyway after he left SKZ, but I don't understand how people can give him so much hate or even wishing him death or prison without any proof of anything he's done.

Hellevator is a meta form used to impress their inner feelings. It is about how they struggle inside with themself and try to find a way up and make their dream come true. So they are fighting against helplessness and negative thoughts and these thoughts are puling them up and down like an elevator. And H stands for hell and heaven, as they are going through hardship and fighting and working hard they don't know where their journey will end in hell or in heaven. But as you can see in the end they end up in "heaven" where they are at the start of making their dream come true. The city symbolizes their dreams, and also their dream to be part of something bigger. So in the end after all the struggle, they made up and in the end, they could see their dreams and goals more clearly.

9:07 I completely agree. To me that melody felt like running freely (completely alone, no one around) in the mountains (close to the edge of a cliff that lead to strong water/waves that broke in big rocks) on an open field of green/almost dry grass that reached to my shoulders; with the sun brushing on my skin through the soft white clouds. That feeling of being free after having to fight for freedom. However, I can see what you're implying as well. I could feel what you were describing too. I agree that the feeling can be very personal. This song is amazing, thank you for your great commentary!
