How do you think it compares to their other ballads?

@@CCTVPOPS Truthfully, I think it fits in perfectly with their catalogue of ballads. It’s definitely nowhere near as good as Viva Forever or Too Much, but I think it’s beautiful. The live version is magical. :)

Melanie C's part on Headlines is actually the bridge (middle 8). And actually, it's (Victoria & Geri) and Melanie C that do the adlibs towards the end. Mel B only has two lines towards the outro, and her adlibs appear in Geri's and Victoria's verses.

That was so interesting to hear you thought voodoo was juvenile and sounds more like an Sclub7 song, cuz it does!! It was going to be on the return of the spice girls tour setlist, and I asked Mel b about during a signing and she said they were going to do it but during rehearsals none of them could get the lyrics right, so they just scrapped it 😂

@@CCTVPOPS it was totally coincidence, because when I walked up to her for the signing voodoo just happened to come on and I was like “do u know this song?” And at first she was like “nuuuuh”, and I was like “it’s voodoo!” And she was like “oh! Funny story about that song…” 😂

My Strongest Suit went to #1 in the radio airplay charts in the Philippines, when it was released in '99.

@@CCTVPOPS Goodbye, Holler, and Let Love Lead The Way all went to #1 here (with the double A side charting seperately and both topping the charts). Tell Me Why and If You Wanna Have Some Fun also were released as radio promo singles and charted at #2 and #5 respectively in in the local radio airplay charts. Headlines peaked at #9 here too.

Ace of base would also be good. Every member knows were obsessed with Linn, who left the band in the 90s, but stayed cos of Clive's contract. But ace of base broke up because knowing linn isnt coming back cos she hates fame and the press. Everybody agrees linn hated being in the band when the US deal happened and non stop traveling.

Great reaction as always 🫶🏼 I always say what we have is the best of Spice Girls. Mel C said there’s no vaults of unreleased material. Anything in the vault, there’s a reason we’ve not heard it. They were so busy they didn’t record much additional. And if Sporty has her way, we won’t get a WOMAN remix, and I’m more than happy with that. I’m still gutted that Headlines ruined their chart run. And I feel any official releases today, it would be fans invested, not the masses. Touring is different. Them selling out Arenas isn’t indicative of what they could achieve on the charts and I really don’t want any part of that legacy “ruined”. Stop and Headlines underperforming is enough. 😂

I read voodoo was actually a vault track from spiceworld.. Im with Melanie C, there was no need for new music. The material was such strong.

My thing is reading the new Charli xcx interview she basically said not everybody is a hit maker, i can't do a collection of songs, Charli xcx said her label just didn't understand she likes themes and overarching story lines in her music. Brat as album, works but von dutch, all the tracks by itself isn't going to stand on its own..360, needed 365 (people are realizing what she meant by key line with bumping that, and its funny nobody knows a line of booger sugar is part of club culture as it enhances the mood and the atmosphere around you, nobody is an addict but an enhancer is sometimes needed) They don't call raves illegal for nothing. It's also where you guys worked in the industry, they still are clueless about public perferred methods of spotify, just like they thought itunes was a fad, they havent evolved or embraced technology, by force. They had to but they treated it as a fad, nobody likes music from headphones.

@@CCTVPOPS ray of light, though due to misinformation it's in socials as best pop vocal album, but watch the video she won best pop album of the year, meaning just not vocals but production, the entire thing won not just the vocals and Madonna also found herself with the people who bought spice Girls, backstreet boys and Britney and NSYNC. A horrible lie that she failed millennials when in reality, everybody overlooks the elder millennials who are early 40s or about to turn 40, I'm 40. Madonna was everywhere it's sad to see a revisionist happen to 00s culture which Madonna was apart of the trl generation

I think some of us fans are shady but I'm saying when we're right we're right. The 3rd spice girls album exists, it's just in the solo debut album of Geri halliwell. No offense but we have to get off the meed of artist's need to reinvent themselves.. It's actually really hard to do and eventually you'll have fans wanting you to go back to the original sound. Spice girls worked best with Matt and Biff, and absolute. Now I wonder why we dubbed schizophonic as the proper spice girls third album, we'll listening to it, it does make you feel that geri was the heart and soul, wasn't afraid to still be campy. She even stole the 2000 brits when the girls was being honored. Geri had passion, the girls it's obvious that fire is long gone. Where geri had so much passion in bag it up. It was so ginger and over the top just liked how we loved the spice girls. Forever made them look like take us seriously please. Call us by our government names. It's depressing. Geri had it all, and still the girls was really jealous cos the success she had continued on without them in the UK.
