All those keyboard switches chatter except for the GK61 and the Razer huntsman mini. What do you think is better between the two? The gk61 has abs keycaps which is why I’m siding with the Razer huntsman stock wise.

It’s a really good keyboard with its switches actuation the feel, I would say purple clicky is better because you feel the click, some people may like the quiet red. I would say it’s a really good keyboard worth its price better than the ducky. Just my opinion cause better performance

Ended up replacing my Compaq MX 11800 with the clicky version of this. I already did a foam mod to it and I enjoy it a lot more with the foam mod. Size is great for being from a bigger company. Optical switches are different, feels good but still prefer tactile switches like browns or romer g switches. Going to try the dry lube mod on the switches and crytox on the stabilizers. Just wish that logitech made a 60% keyboard, I would instantly buy it.

I currently own the linear variant of this keyboard and I have come to really enjoy it, though I do agree with having HECKA typos all over the place. I wanted to improve this keyboard so I ended up just foam modding this keyboard.

I liked mine over my linear red switched te, it’s noisier but that tactical feedback does feel pretty good and I’d say it’s worth the noise since my razer kraken mic doesn’t work

Agreed on all points in your conclusion. Definitely agree on the Leopold suggestion as well. I have the 750R and the quality is multiple leagues above any keyboard Razer makes for 10 dollars more, I'm sure the 660 is similar. Even before I lubed them, the stabilizers put Razer's to shame, though clearly that isn't saying much is it?

there are $50 mechanicals, if you don't need optical. huntsman mini is a completely different technology than every other 60%, so it costs whatever it costs, brand has nothing to do with it, as it has no direct competitors.

I probably interpreted you wrong as I thought you meant that it's special because it's optical or something. But you were stating that it's unique and therefore it's stupid to compare it to other keyboards from what I've understood so far. But I'm simply trying to state that for that price point, you can get better keyboards. The fact that it's proprietary is pretty meaningless to me, it's all about the feeling of the switch. Besides the Razer optical switches aren't good imho, and the stabs are freaking disgusting. But in the end I feel like it's still a "good" keyboard. Why would i need the wire end covers if you're always going to have it plugged in most of the time anyways 😅an you can mod them to sound like a £300 keyboard you can dampen the sound easy an lube it an feel like apex pro just petty to complain about imperfect sounds from a keyboard which isn't the keyboards function overall plus you're going to have deafening headphones on anyways if you're on pc an are gaming

I always wanted a clicky switch with the actuation and click at the same point, as well as a relatively short actuation distance. 1.5mm is actually the same as my gateron low profile blues, but the Razer purples have 0.8mm more travel after the acutation point. Seems like the perfect for not bottoming out with a clicky. I find it quite hard on the low profile gateron blues, as the actuation point is so far below the click, and I have only 1mm of travel left below it. The Ducky One 3 mini/SF seems a lot more tempting in terms of sound/stabilizers and style/uniqueness, but I think I'm still going for the Huntsman Mercury because of the purple switches. At least it has PBT keycaps and a standard bottom row, even though that rattly stock sound is horrible.

Heres why I love my Huntsman Mini. I put foam in it and dry lubed it, it sounds and feels even better. Its super responsive, like for me, noticeable more responsive, probably because its optical. Lastly the thing looks amazing with my POM jellies shining through it.

I have a Huntsman TE. Honestly, it's a decent keyboard. The only thing people call a good keyboard is when it sounds like what they want them to be (which are very subjective). The optical red keys are excellent, they are fast and smooth.

Pffff unprogrammable fn. Useless! Big youtubers sadly becoming a real shillers these days, they didn't even clarified this. Every smaller youtuber call this kb super mediocore XD people just buy drop alt if you really want gamery but also classy keyboard. Mainly, I would stay away from these plastic kb and go with something aluminish or polycarbonatish, because sooner or later you will want something more premiumish from your kb. Trust me I tried that :D

Did anyone experienced chattering with this keyboard? so far I found only one reddit post about some1 saying it happened to him... I got into mechanical keyboards recently being the "ducky onetwo mini sf" my first choise... and I had a very bad experience so far...... not even a month and I had chatter heppen, I got it changed and after a week and a half of using the brand new replacement I got is happening again....... so the shop is giving me the option to trade it for the huntsman mini with purple switches is it worth the trade? obviously I'm not going to get yet a 3rd replacement of the same shitty ducky brand.. but if hutsman mini could happen the same shit then might as well look into another option (maybe replace it again and resell it) Thanks to anyone who answers!
