Hey everyone! So I just heard back from Razer regarding the lubed switches claim. They said that the new switches will have lube applied to the spring inside - but as I said in the video everything was bone dry. Could be that the lube dried out? Could be that particular spring has it applied too thin? Idk, cough #LUBEGATE cough jk, but yes they did say all springs will be lubed in production units.

Frank, I have to say your attention to detail and color coordination is unbelievable. At 3:06 you arranged all of the screws in a radial pattern in the dish AND alternated between facing in and out with each screw. The notebooks on the left side of the frame perfectly compliment the colorways of the switches, keyboard, puller and dish. In your intro and outro shots, the green of your desktop background is even matched to your eye color. Honestly it goes beyond the point of being pleasing and relaxing for me and starts to make me feel uncomfortable because everything is too well-coordinated and tidy like I'm living in a simulation, but please take this as a compliment.

This is kinda dream come true and must-buy for me. I mean, using this with a razer mouse and put a Hypershift button on your mouse, probably you can use 2 different layout (default layout & macro layout) in one keyboard at the same time and switch it with just a mouse click, it means you can use a lot of keys without moving your left hand IN A 60% LAYOUT, which is really helpful for my video editing work as a 60%, and in my knowledge all the other 60% can't do this (I mean switch marco by mouse button). This keyboard is the keyboard I have waiting for a loooooong time and I'm gonna buy the red switch version right after it released, thank you for the review!

Holy moly, just got it boys. It actually sounds EXACTLY LIKE IN THE VIDEO! I was really terrified that the ones that reviewers got were just better versions than the actual product but no! Its just as good! It was even scarrier because small fortnite asmr channels were claiming to be using the Mini Linear but were actually using the TE which was ultra clacky. Me and others called them out and they just seemed confused or dismissing. The spacebar sounds godlike and the keys sound like they were pre lubed by Taeha himself. Thank you Razer, you really nailed it this time.

So I’ve had this board for about a week now. Got the black with the red switches. And this is a wonderful board to type on. You can barley hear it and I’m a heavy typer with my right hand and is like I’m just tickling the keys. I had the black widow elite with the yellow switches but that’s thing wasn’t quiet like they’re advertising it to be. But after using this for about a week i have realized how often it would use the arrow keys and the function keys. I was thinking about getting the huntsman TKL but then i saw this video and heard the typing test, or lack thereof, and had to get it. Having to use the function button is a little annoying sometimes. But if razer decides to put the new red switches into the TKL within the time I’m allowed to return the 60%, i might have to get that just because of the extra keys. But this board is amazing. There are obviously cheaper alternatives to the 60% keyboard but i like having these switches and the lighting options through synapse.

@@thauras4059 Oh yeah! Just got it today! :D It's amazing!! Switches are the best, super quiet linear. The only thing is stabilizers on aren't the greatest but it's not a deal-breaker. Also, RGB doesn't shine as bright as I would like for the black model but that's a personal preference thing.

I still have this one linear mercury. Stock keycaps are great and do not have that dry pbt feel. 1mm is a bit too fast but not too bad thanks to 40 grams. Feels solid to press. No mistakes. The linear feels fantastic and very smooth to press. Sounds good, looks good, feels good, holds up good. Rgb is great, cable is great. The only downside is phantom sticky keys but you just have to remove synapse

Hey! Well the switches for one are a solid improvement. Especially in person when you test the new vs old side by side, they’re much better. I do actually like their textured keycaps, granted it’s not SA or GMK quality, but they’re also only $30, not $150 and up. And stabs, yeah they could still do better, but they’re miles better than what they used to be and are miles better than what Corsair has to offer. I think the main problem and thing holding them back from improving the stabs is just the man-hours going into it they would have to allocate. It could be done, but they’re also the largest peripheral company in the world and that manual labor going into every single stab wouldn’t be an easy tast

@@randomfrankp @randomfrankp hey, I agree in part that this board, especially switch wise is an improvement from its other razer contemporaries and might be acceptable at a much lower price, but when you can get much more refined keyboards from poker, durgod, Leopold and other brands at the same or lower price I just don't understand it. Stabs have come a long way and it seems like there are some intriquisies regarding the switch and or pcb design that are stopping them from adopting better functioning pcb mount stabs rather than the hybrid ones they've opted with. Keycaps, sure - It is good to see they have permanently moved away from the thin laser etched slip and slide abs ones they commonly used, and like you said gmk and other sets are not to be expected on a board of this price. If this was 1/2-2/3 of the price maybe it would be a bit more viable in my eyes

Yeah for sure. I think this at even $99 would be a sweet spot. But again, the Razer market is much much much larger than the reach of Poker, Leopold & Durgod. I've check out a lot of Durgods stuff and their stabs are second to none in this peripheral market, but they can also afford to do that because they produce a much smaller amount of keyboards to sell
