Apparently I'm kind of superficial....the Nemesis couldn't win me over to flywheels. The Prometheus couldn't win me over to flywheels...but make a Stryfe clear and then make it glow green and I'm seriously considering my first flywheel blaster.

The real reason i'm going to pick one up sooner or later is because the 35 round drums jam all of the time unless you're using a side loading blaster

a while back i read that the 35 dart drums where designed to be used in side loading blasters because it jams less (hence why the end of the magazine is offset from the drum). don't really know how true that is because i can't find a 35 dart drum on ebay for less than like $40 but the logic checked out to me.

I read that too, but i have a 35 that came with my raider. Ive used it extensively in plenty of things and never had any issues

Mod guide please but if also you could show some aesthetic changing like you could dye it red and add red LED’s or do whatever you want but just show the aspheric changing process so we can see how we could do aesthetic changes if we get evaders. Thanks

If it's semi-auto, it's a Stryfe reskin. If it has a plunger tube in a magazine fed blaster, it's a Recon reskin. So on and so forth.

dear Drac you said give a reason to pick a styfe over the evader i have a few (1=as you said the magazine placement) (2=the stryfe is more compact and can be used as a pistol) (3=the upgrade potential is a lot better externally and internally i can have a select fire kriss vector stryfe if i wanted which is impossible with the evader

Personally prefer the strife, partly because of the side loading but also really not a massive fan of the shell. The clear isn’t really my cup of tea, and the unnecessary extra pieces of shell just seem a little over the top. I can also almost guarantee that the thumb hole grip at the front is unlikely to fit my hand and so going to be a bit uncomfortable. The strife to me was so cool because it could be both a primary or a holstered secondary. The modular, yet simple design is why it was so good. Edit: also double the price for leds that may take away power from the battery is also a pretty good reason for me.

I own one, and yes, the thumb hole foregrip is uncomfortable. I still think this is better that a stryfe, because of the cleanness of it.

I prefer the stryfe not because of magazine placement, but the release mech and magazine housing. The Rampage style mag release and mag housing always seemed flimsy to me.

Two things if you put on a retaliator or any short stock it still feels good because of the spacing between the trigger and stock point Also i hope the modding communtiy can make kits based on ww2 smgs cuz it really fits the style (yea i know its clear)

And of he course he fails to mention the big advantage of the side loading, which is that raider/rampage drums will work much better with this then a Stryfe since they were designed to function sideways. Most of the feed issues with Nerf drums disappear when used with sideloading blasters.

Still uses the old flywheel shooting mech, easy to jam and less reliable, but less confusing to make which makes it more affordable for a clear blaster.

For reference: 4 5mm LEDs, 3 3mm LEDs. The two in the barrel attachment have spacers, make sure to keep those. The resistors are overly large for the LEDs as is, so stepping up to a 2S should not be an issue.

The tiny front thumb hole looks uncomfortable. The lights look cool and all, but does that make it worth paying the cost for it new if you already have one or more stryfe-like blasters? Why on earth would someone pay "thousands and thousands of dollars" for a nerf blaster with LEDs in it? The materials, nor the lights, nor the shell, nor the labor are (not) worth that much. No offense drac, but i dont see multiple thousands of dollars of value there, even if it has your name on it.

Walmart has the Evader for $30 special so I got one. Even with included batteries I got 79fps on 2nd shot! I haven't put in my preferred Energizer AA Li yet. Energizer Li has less delay and also weighs less than Alkaline.

Rampage mag well broke off the blaster while cqb. The clips that snap into the body broke off so it's a giganto sharpfire that is pump action now. I thrifted a broken rampage and get the mag well of and did tinkering with the thrifted one.

Can you remove all your selective focuses on your audio and video settings? It would be really cool to run on manual so you can have the blaster's audio and your own audio and glow in the dark tube to glow correctly.
