This thing is certainly both alien looking and menacing but the performance leaves something to be desired. Overall a fun and somewhat goofy albeit impractical shotgun from the new line. I will applaud the styling and design once more though as both are excellent.

there aren't many that fire more than 2 but they exist Sledgefire= 3 darts Boomco burst wave and stealth ambush = 4 darts (technically 3+1 on the latter) Boomco tri blast = 3 darts, but easily dual wieldable for 6 darts and of course there are crazy air blasters like the titan you can heavily mod to shoot flipping 14 darts at once.

Depending on the size of the plunger tube, this thing might make a great "sniper" if it was modded to shoot singles with a cpvc barrel and a new spring. You might even keep 2 of the original barrels and drop the other six with the rotating turret. Though, it's still unlikely to beat an alpha trooper or a crossbow on capacity or range respectively. Still, it's super nifty that nerf is trying new things at this level of absurdity again.

I love the looks of these... visually that is. I genuinely want to run these just so I can look at them through the hour we play. Plus we ran an "alien" gamemode once at the RFDL, and with a bit of tweaking it could get to be a bit more interesting.

I think that the darts are going far but with the spin of the barrels are messing up with the stability. I also think this would be cool if you made it into a single or double shot blaster.

I might have said this before but I love that fact that you consider things worth getting even if it's just for the "fun" factor. Like, it doesn't have to be competitive level or even possible to mod it to that level. If it looks sweet and is fun to play with it can still be worth it, because at the end of the day it's about having fun.

I think the Alien Menace line would be perfect to mod into Destiny prop foam weapons. Maybe use them to help make the King's Fall raid weapon line since similarities in design and form.

Hey Drac, I got an idea. What if you remove the outer 'slots' for darts, so the turrets only have 1 dart slot. With other basic performance modification too, duh. 7kg spring etc. I believe this blaster would be more war-practical if it had just 4 shots, though its handicapping you by giving you 4 less shots, it might be a better solution than having those HORRIBLE performamce differences. SO I just got hold of one of these from my local toys r us. Hmm its very interesting that you can see the plunger head screw through the port on the end and the AR is all built into the turret. Haven't opened it up yet but I expect this might have a system like the guardian crossbow or the vagabond from what you can see through the purple plastic.

This is a sick blaster! Also, I found the Modulus green dot sight and flashlight at K-Mart. They were both $9.99, but I only got the green dot sight. It's actually pretty cool, and is rather bright. It uses the same pattern as the 2 pistols with red dot sights, where it has the dot and then the ring around it. It also fits in pretty well on an Elite XD Stryfe, as the color schemes are rather similar(the Stryfe is white on orange, the sight is orange on white)

It does! The dart fires on the pump forward when you slam-fire, however, slam-firing too fast causes the barrel to outright fail to rotate, so there's a high chance you'll end up firing nothing.
