@@DentonFarmsthe turning radius is significantly better on the 620 rear tires, also turns with a lot less effort with the joystick steering!

The MF and later Fendt combines were originally made by the Danish combine manufacture Dronningborg that was bought by AGCO in 1997. Today it is only a development center as production was moved to Italy after AGCO purchased Laverda in 2011.

I would like to see you demo a Gleaner S98 with a 12 row head or a 40 ft. bean head, it just might pleasantly surprise you with nimbleness and fuel savings. They are a lot less money to buy and rebuild.

Browns have tracks on their ideal. It’s a new combine. And at 6 miles a hour in a light crop due to drought the whole combine and can shutters. It’s very very rough. The track design is poor

If they worked the same then all combines (and machinery in general, and everything in general) could potentially cost the same. Generally speaking, in between brands, there is a difference in harvested grain quality, straw quality, % of losses, fuel economy, hourly output, overall build quality, maintenance costs, spare parts cost, advancement of technology, and so many other aspects. There are many reasons why you would pay a premium for a brand even when you can get a different, cheap machine that can do the job. I think German engineering is somewhere else than American. That is why, for example Fendt tractors, are gaining a foot in America. They are just so good. Buying something just for the sole reason of supporting a national manufacturer is maybe a good way for the economy, but not a motivating force for innovation.

@@tomekamiskagree a billion percent. Deere, Cat, AGCO etc make most of their machines OVERSEAS. I have zero loyalty to any of them. Deere is overpriced. Period. They’re all expensive, they all break, you marry a dealership, if service sucks go to the next brand. It ain’t the same Deere from childhood, none are, they’re all soulless corporations that could care less about you or what you want. Hell, billy gates is a huge investor in Deere, why do ya think they won’t let anyone work on the software?

You guys are way too nice to that combine. It’s an economy combine cheap. The cab is cheap with poor finishing. And I can see you bouncing around in there. Those combines are known to burn. Our neighbors burnt last year. And some KZbiners also had their fendt burn Tlotwcof break down issues. They are a much less expensive machine that is the main reason people buy them.
