I'll be honest, when I watched this movie in theaters I didn't laugh a single time. It was a sad movie full of constant depression, it was just, sad. After me and my friends watched it we went for dinner, hung out for a bit and we went home. Then I poured myself a few drinks and just stared off into space thinking about my life. One of the best movies I've ever seen. 11/10

I watched this movie for the first time with my mom. She was a pretty big comic book fan growing up but never really got into the X-men. But she absolutely loved it. She said it was her favorite super hero movie. We watched about 12 others during the month she was visiting to try to get caught up for End Game. But she absolutely loved both X-23 and Logan. She thought it was fun to watch the little girl kick so much ass. She also felt bad for Logan but said she understood exactly what he was going through between being so tired after fighting so long and loving your kid so much you push through even if you hate yourself for doing it sometimes. I don't have a larger point or anything. I just didn't know my mom was a comic book nerd until a few months ago and this movie was a big part in learning about that. So the movie holds a special place for me since we bonded during a tough time in my life even though we weren't very close when I was growing up.

Yea but he wasn't holding his heart in his own hand in that scene in The Wolverine. Also, Yukio said "there's blood everywhere" and there barely was in that scene. In Logan tho where he actually dies...... Blood everywhere. Mangold is a smart director. I'm not saying he's planned Logan's death before the movie was even written, but they did purposefully end up doing it in a certain way that would align with Yukio's vision.

No offense, but I really didn't like it. I'm genuinely curious how you guys thought that it was a good movie. The CGI was good but the plot itself was dragged along sooo much. The movie was too long for whatever it was and the plot was unoriginal. What do you guys think?

Garrett Adams To be fair, I try to avoid trailers when I can. Not that I don't like to get hyped for a movie, but sometimes (especially for horror films) they give away too many spoilers. Ex: Seeing scene B with Actress 1 in the trailer tells me Actress 1 won't die in scene A.

ikr, its exactly as you say, because deadpool is known as the merc with the mouth and is aware that he is basically not real but logan on the other hand doesn't even know that he's a fictional character and plays his role as you see him, violent and full rage, deadpool on the other hand is violent, like Logan, but puts also words into the fight and thats something that makes it kinda funny, so what I'm basically saying is, Deadpool is the funny version of Logan and also one more similarity, deadpool also has a child like logan, a biological daughter, look it up at the comics, and speaking of Logan, his daughter will probably take his super hero alias.
