actually, those "useless skills" are pretty useful for someone on the run. By memorizing the car plates he can later try and find out to whom it belongs to if needed. By knowing the waitress is left handed, he knows how they would position thenselves into a shooting position. By knowing the guys weight he can estimate how hard it would be to fight or flee from that guy.

@@aaronrobinson2121, having read the books I can tell you that is exactly why he didn't hide his face. The treadstone operatives were all average in appearance so as to be able to blend in easily. That's because the movie is one big make-believe bulls--t. It sells stunts with confidence, but that does not mean they are possible. For example, you cannot defeat a knife fighter with a rolled newspaper. He will just press you against a wall or table and stab you full of holes, ignoring your newspaper - compared to the knife, it does nothing. You cannot run from snipers, you cannot out-shoot dozens of operatives lying in wait for you, it's all just garbage.

Did you like Jason Bourne?
@NeilYoungHorne Жыл бұрын
@@NeoConnor1I think Jason Bourne is an underrated movie. I really liked it. Some of the plot can get in the way, but it's still a very entertaining ride

It's not a bad movie, it just didn't need to be a Bourne movie.
@mistertadakichi8 жыл бұрын
I think it did the smartest thing it could without Damon, which was run Aaron Cross's story parallel to events in the Bourne trilogy without them actually intersecting. Also it ditched Greengrass shaky-cam in favor of more coherent action cinematography (compared to Supremacy/Ultimatum, anyway) and had an interesting dynamic and character arc between Renner and Weisz.
@rd32998 жыл бұрын
I'm waiting on the new movie to make references to Aaron Cross. I'm pretty sure the movie after the new one has them working together.

1:01 'The spy who made that era's James Bond look like a joke'. Err... he managed to look like a joke all by himself. There was no need to compare him to anyone else.

People want the series to return to that nonsense. I wonder if they’ve rewatched the older movies to see if that’s what they really want. Spectre was more of a return to the typical format of those corny 007 movies and many hated it. They can keep all that sci fi stuff and corny fluff in the past where it belongs.
