Disney always does this, the visuals and on the surface stuff is for the kids but the rest ranges from teen to adult and the overall message can appeal to all ages. In the end you truly have a picture that the whole family can enjoy.

*LeakedMovies. net* Hello people, I've found 2 days ago leaked version of Zootopia, so it would help you. I have just watched it and I am absolutely fascinated. The best scene of film is from 42 to 46 minute, I've almost cried! It will be the the best movie this year. Version which I found is pretty good quality of video and sound (720p, I think). There are also included French, Dutch and German subtitles. Here is link on the top of this post. Honestly I think that Disney outdid themselves with this film. So amazing at how it told it's intriguingly brilliant story and some of the best characters I have ever seen from any movie I have saw in my life. I do not care what everyone else says but this is my favourite film of all time. It touches on both the brighter and darker elements of society in such a fascinating complex way. It's truly a masterpiece of film. :)

Which is why it's good.. Today, some dumb parents like to keep their kid innocent for as long as possible and hide them from the real world. Zootopia (and many Disney and Pixar stuff) proves that you can have an enjoyable, family-friendly movie that deals with real shit and actually teaches children something important.. While I doubt the stereotype always comes first, it can easily be a vicious cycle. All stereotypes have a source, and these sources vary wildly. American stereotypes of Russians, afaik, derive from Cold War fears. American stereotypes of Italians being mobsters tends to be derived from Al Capone among other members of the Italian mafia that rose to prominence, while the stereotypes of Italians being energetic are loosely based on actual cultural differences, often taken out of context or exaggerated. My point is, stereotypes that are not entirely based on propaganda (though even propaganda is usually, though not always an exaggeration or reframing of something real) are based on a (sometimes distorted, decontextualized, or exaggerated) trend that either is real, or was real at one point. So, chances are, at least at one point foxes very likely *were* sneaky, or something about "fox culture" was taken out of context or exaggerated at some point in Zootopia's history. Same with all the other animals. Although perhaps a few famous fox criminals, spies, or detectives in Zootopia history may also have set the stereotype for others. Whatever the case, I find it much more productive to discuss the source of a stereotype and contextualize it than to simply bash it. I also find it more interesting to consider in this fantasy setting. Stereotypes aren't spontaneous and random, but a distortion of a present or past trend, celebrity, or sometimes even an accurate representation of a present or past trend or celebrity.

Judy Hopps is the best female character that disney created. For many reasons: 1. She's not a princess 2. She didn't need a man to save her (They worked together, but on most of the accounts she saved Nick plenty of times) 3. She actually wants to help people (name me another disney princess who actually helps their country or help as many people without a selfish reason, or who wasn't forced to take part into something) 4. And she is a better role model for young girls then any of the other princesses, because for the most part she is more realistic than any of them (Ok, I believe I need to clarify something, what I meant to say about Judy is that she is Disney's best character because she is realistic. She likeable, charming, optimistic, a go-getter, but she does have flaws, unlike the other female Disney characters who are pretty much perfect (Some are flawed, but not enough to be called human, or realistic). (Sure they have problems in the beginning.) (I'm describing the Disney Princesses that most girls look up to as role models) And this is all do to Disney Princess Syndrome: 1. They either hate or are completely bored with their lives. 2. They were forced to marry someone they don't love. 3. They just stand out and cannot fit in society because they are too different, and they won't give in to the status quo and be like everybody else. 4. They have to fix the problem, they caused. 5. They want to save a family member, or a friend, but not the general public. Except this is the problem with most Disney female characters they are just too modern for their time periods (especially shown in the 90's). All the other Disney Princess written before the 90's were written as damsel or wishy-washy girls who would rather dream and a let a man save them (Except Cinderella) but even then they didn't do anything (And I love those movies but I can't ignore the characters). And what I mean to say is this, did any of the other princess wanted to help people? Without being the cause of the problem (Merida, Ariel) or being forced to confront the problem (Mulan, Belle). Were their wants, needs, desires, and dreams beneficial to others or just themselves? Think about that did any other Disney princess truly wanted to help someone other than themselves, or their family members? (Cinderella’s mice count as her family, because they are the only ones who cared about her throughout the movie) (And I am talking about the Disney Princess line. Or did they just want to make their dreams (And only their dreams) come true? And when they decided to help people, was it before or after the problem showed up? Mainly most of the time when they started to help people, it was after they forced to take on the problem, or after they caused the problem.
