Great video.. As a really senior citizen, I have taken my last economy flight internationally. That will most likely end my travels from my home in Thailand back to the US. Have a great day and God Bless..

Great video, I loved the inbound & outbound videos! I live in LA, LAX, is plane spotters paradise! The next time your here, you must eat at the infamous In & Out Burger adjacent to LAX, also to the south, on the hill, there is a spot with benches, overlooking the two main Runways, always full of people! Yes, it is always the crew, who can make or break a flight!!!❤😂

I did go to In&out many times just not at LAX this time! Great burgers!

Too bad when some crew are not givning the passengers a Nice service, including the toilets and breakfast. Did you sent a feedback on the Screen ? If not, Please send in feedback so the corrrect crew see this. I am at SAS myself and service must be at high standard. This crew was not doing their job and I’m sorry to see that. I Hope you come back and try it again.
@fintraveler11 ай бұрын
Yes, I did! I almost always give feedback to airlines be that good or bad and I am very aware that this crew was not up to SAS standards, usually SAS has great crew on all their flights and this was the first time I felt disappointed in SAS crew after taking my first SAS flight in 1998. So I know this isn't indicative of the usual SAS service. The crew on the way to LA was absolutely sublime! Thanks for watching!

A very nice video. At first, I was skeptical because of the lack of subscribers, but it turned out not to be important. I am currently struggling to choose an airline to fly to us so this video has helped me a lot. How do you think would a 197cm person fit comfortably in the economy seat you reviewed?
@fintraveler10 ай бұрын
While I feel the legroom was pretty good (I'm 187cm) but since you're so tall I'd probably spend a little more money and preselect a seat further forward. The first 10 rows or so of economy have more legroom. You could also choose rows 30 (seats A,C or G,J),40 (seats B,C) or 41 (seats A,G,H,J) as these are an exit row with unlimited legroom if you really want to make sure you can fit flying with the SAS A350. If you want more information on seat pitch, legroom etc between airlines I suggest having a look at sites like SeatGuru they have detailed info on most airlines seat layouts! Have a great trip and thank you so much for watching!

Im considering travel with SAS. Do they allow one carry-on luggage on board for free, traveling from LAX with SAS go light (I think that’s the name but its the cheapest economy ticket)?

how was the customer service? Were they strict with the checked bag weight. How much was yours
@fintraveler10 ай бұрын
The customer service was very straight forward. My checked bag was within the weight limits so I don't know wether they're strict with that. They were however quite strict with people that didn't have a cabin bag included in their ticket on the flights from Helsinki to Copenhagen and back.

at 6'2" of course you will not find enough room! And that goes for basically all the economy seats so.....Maybe you should make a video on Premium economy next time. Oh and business class are all basically the same since all of them have a lay back seat.
@fintravelerАй бұрын
Ha! I'd argue while I'm tall, I'm still within the confines of a somewhat normal height. Especially for a Scandinavian. When it comes to reviewing more premium options, those are definatwly on the list in the future, if and when I get the chance! Thanks for watching!
@altavelmcnamara11 ай бұрын
I can’t understand why it is such a big deal for some airlines to find somewhat normal crew. Shitty crew = shitty flight even if everything else is ok… great review.
@fintraveler11 ай бұрын
True, however I feel this was more of a one off crew, since I've flown with SAS quite a bit and I've never had this happen before. Generally speaking I've noticed the FA's closer to retirement on any airline are all either absolutely fantastic or just don't care any more and hate being there and there is no inbetween 😅

Nice video mate, too bad The Service wasn`t up to scratch..........it´ll be better next time...............unless SAS has gone bankrupt in the meantime..........🤗
@fintraveler11 ай бұрын
Hopefully they don't go bankrupt. I really enjoy flying them and they are great competition to keep fares affordable!
@onkelmarvin836011 ай бұрын
@@fintraveler They probably won`t, cause Denmark and Sweden owns about 30%, and there`s some " National Pride " involved, so they`ve bailed them out before. Too bad that Norway isn`t involved anymore, cause they just came out with a 975 Billion Norwegian Crowns surplus on their oil income, for the first 6 months of The Financial Year, so that would`ve helped a lot.........😁

i was about to book this airline from LAX to Paris for $660 but then i did a quick google and this airline gets 1-star reviews and you have to pay $100 for 1st checked bag. The 1-star review kinda throw me off.
@fintraveler9 ай бұрын
While SAS is in no way the most luxourious way to get across the atlantic, it in no way deserves a 1-star rating. The fact is any airline is going to get 1-star reviews these days. I felt SAS was a good way to get to the US and back and beats any of the US legacy carriers (AA, Delta, United). I do feel the price for checked bags is quite steep if it's 100$ these days, it was around 60$ when I traveled, but that unfortunately is becoming the norm. I don't agree with it either.
