I'm not really aligned with your definition of durability. I think maybe you're talking cosmetic durability. I say this because I see the Jordan 1 as an extremely durable shoe. I bmx in them, play with my band, drive stick, load unload gear and do pretty much anything and they don't skip a beat. Also, for my feet at least 1s are very comfortable. Some people like the bounce of boost foam or similar and that's okay too. It's all about what you like. I have a wide high arched foot for reference
