Once anyone races Gran Turismo 7 at 120fps locked, no other sim racing will ever suffice. It's a literal game changer. The AI is more precise, especially at the highest speeds they're smooth AF. And the FFB on a DD+ is even more high fidelity. You can dance and check for grip with each wheel wiggle like never before. It's worth it just for Gran Turismo 7. No other sim racing titles will be able to get by with pathetic frame rates and insane long loading times! Additionally the initial signal setup issues is a total cluster F with the PS5 Pro, ESPECIALLY if you have HDMI recording setup. HDCP should be off by default. just a total nuisance. Careful 🍎 -- clowns who say the Weissach package isn't "worth it" usually are just showing their lack of expertise and don't understand the assignment. So $4,000 active pedals could never be worth it, eh?

I just got the PS5 Pro coming from the PS4 Pro. My 77" LG G4 made a huge difference on the PS4 Pro but the PS4 Pro to the PS5 Pro, not so much.

At this moment right now PS5 slim is £480 at sony's website, and pro is £700. However PS5 Pro have 16.7 TFLOPS while PS5 is 10.28. Or if you wish to compare price per teraflops PS5 Pro is a better deal by 10% because (16.7/10.28)*480 = 780

Its not twice the price.. Also it plays test drive way better than the base, dragons dogma hits 60 now, and gt7 runs at native 4k 120. And u can just take ur ssd out the slim and place it in the pro. U also zipped right by the ps5 pro background while saying its the same.

I really do enjoy your sim racing content, but this is an utterly useless video. You ask at the beginning if the Pro is worth it and then don't demonstrate or highlight any benefits. Showing us the menu that looks exactly the same isn't much of a comparison. As to whether it is worth it, I imagine you have spent considerably more on racing wheels, racing seats, and gaming PCs as have most sim racers. Something is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, and I think the hardware inside and performance justifies the price. My major gripe is the lack of disk drive. I don't want an external drive. I would rather pay £900 for a model with a drive built in. That said, I will be getting one.

I think one thing that people always overlook is your HDMI cable. Make sure you have a at least a 4K or an 8K Ultra high definition cable that's at least 38 gigabyte most. HDMI cables are very cheap.

Just hooked mine up as well. I’ll say up front the only reason I got it was because of great trade in values at GameStop here in the US when it was announced. Made it pretty easy to grab one. But my unboxing was not great. It’s very cheap packaging. The HDMI cable is shorter now too I think. For a “premium” product there are corners cut everywhere.

I have 2 PS5 setups, a sim rig with PSVR2 and a living room setup on the big TV. I’ve changed the living room PS5 for the Pro and I’m loving it but if this makes a big difference to GT7 VR I just know I’m gonna end up dropping another 700 big ones for the sim rig 🤦‍♂️

It is a waste of money - there are no specific PS5 Pro games, nothing other than better graphics for some games, there are no gameplay enhancements nothing other than visuals - if it were significantly more powerful a real step up then fair enough but it doesn’t bring enough to the table for the outlay

You should be able to get 60 fps on an original ps5 .30 fps is old gen numbers ,pro should be a lot more than 60 .I've got a very mediocre pc that cost about £700 and get 72 fps on FM ,another reason not to go back to gt7
