Hey @Harkirat, I observed the lights flicking in the background of your videos, that's bcz you're in US where electricity is of 60hz frequency unlike India where it's 50 hz, therefore you can change your camera settings from PAL to NTSC and it will resolve this issue.

Yes Sir, It was my passion to understand how DNS, TCP, IP, FTP, SMTP, and web systems are programmed and deployed. How telephone networks are converted into packets for internet usage (their programming and systems). I regret not practicing Data Structures in my college days, but now I worry more about technology. I learned about Data Structures in my second year of BTech. I don't know why do people care for it? even if we particularly apply algorithms while at work. For example, I have to implement LinkList for file management, which I could use when I need it. Why learn all the algorithms, rather try development.

Hi Harkirat. I would like you to create a video for people who are into Software Development for 3-4 years. How can they get better? There are people who have the same amount of work experience in terms of years of experience but at different positions. Some are really good at programming and others are non that great. How people can be more proactive and learn quickly and grow up the ladder. Also considering some cases like where the person has been into development and now wants to get into a different role that doesn't really involve much coding instead he would be working to figure out how some projects can be done in a better way and consult the team of junior-mid level developers. Also, people who feel like they are stuck in a particular role and are not interested in pursuing that role anymore want to switch to a different one and still remain in the same sort of field. Something along these lines would be great to hear from you.

I'm interested in attempting the assignment, could you please provide pointers such as where i should start, pre-requisite knowledge i need, so that if not this one i can start completing your assignments overtime

First, you need to know how to build basic front end. Second, try to visualise the problem given to you, how would the data flow? (understanding of asynchronous coding is a must here) i.e if the user hits on submit what happens? it makes an API call to backend? what happens during that process on the front end? what if it fails? what if it is successful etc etc. All the best

@@anmolfrost I was able to understand what you said on the surface level, could you be more specific about what I need to learn. For example when you say API I believe I should learn interfaces and then understand how front end and back end is connected. As of now I'm good with running programs with the output strictly in the console, which is basic programs like school level algorithms etc. Btw to give perspective, I'm yet to start my engineering

@@pushant9821 That's okay, and yes api is nothing but how you decide your front end and backend gets connected. First I would suggest understanding how async code works that important. for eg if you are working with Javascript, understand promises/async await and how they work with respect to synchronous code. Once you grasp how these work, you will have a broad view in your mind of how things would be going in your project and you would be able to device a better solution for the assignment. The assignment is not that difficult as it sounds its just frontend communicating with backend and updating a database. Feel free to ask if you need anything else.

If you don't know anything about coding, memory etc and if you can Understand foreign accent then I'll recommend you to watch all episodes(7 - 8 I think) of CS50 and maybe later CS50W . It will remove many of the confusions you will face later, trust me. Goodluck.
