So grateful to hear his story after having his music on repeat for a couple months straight. I'm definitely still an addict so I haven't made it out but I still very much love Avs music after losing friends to drunk car accidents and suicide etc. It really helps me feel like I'm not alone in this.

My dad passed away from liver cancer, caused by opiate abuse. Outsiders would never know us kids knew my mom knew. We watched him pass away slowly and still take those pills. That part about the pills hits so hard. My dad was a good man and he passed at 63. We miss you dad.

And I feel for any of you out there dealing with addiction. Stay strong and please don’t quit quitting. Rely on family and friends to keep you up.
