I wasn't expecting the voiceover, either. Dang copyright laws, hey? Although there seems to be a certain sense of cosmic irony in the fact that the owner of one of the most iconically famous pair of boobs of all time is also the owner of the copyright that forced the change to this video.

There is another recording of this song that you can still find with that section included. Not sure why one needed alteration and the other did not but I have seen it used recently in reactions. So fun to see people discovering Tim! I have been a huge fan since 2009 and still love seeing how much joy he brings to new fans.

I'm sure someone already mentioned it but the word was "octogenarian" octo indicating eight (like octopus) and essentially is someone who is in their eighties. I think you'd enjoy "not perfect" and "I'll take lonely tonight". I'll take lonely is a newer song.

I love your reactions to Tim. I’m a massive fan of this man and I do take great joy in watching others discover him. If you like a bit of jazz check out “Cheese”, full orchestral versions the best for me. If you you want a serious side to Tim and and revel in the beauty of his lyrics “I’ll Take Lonely Tonight”, which is the most beautiful romantic rejection ever, and “Not Perfect (Royal Albert Hall)”.

Once you've done the Pope song I'd recommend either I'll Take Lonely Tonight which is a nice song that I don't thnk you've done yet or as others have suggested White Wine in the Sun which is a brilliant modern day Xmas song (not comedy) and well worth it. You may need a change of pace after the Pope Song as that is, um, er, confrontational.... You'll see what I mean.

Been ploughing through these Tim Minchin reactions today and loving them. :D Alongside Tim Minchin, my other favourite for smart comedy music has always been Bill Bailey. His "Love Song" is hilarious and his "Cockney music/Cockney Rock" bits are legendary. Also I had never heard the version of this song where Tim had to explain the copyright issues, that's wild.

Tim can actually read music now, but it's quite limited. He has a degree in music, i think. But he still sucks at reading and writing it down. He has music software to help him put his melodies to paper, but he mostly needs to hire people to do it for him. He's self-taught in piano and composition, so with natural talent like that, who cares! But like any musician, genius or not, he practices and writes ALL THE TIME!

I noticed your eyebrows shoot up when he mentioned lipstick helping to recreate a happy vj. It's one of those things that most women know but men don't. That's why some women do that lip-plumping thing, to make men instinctively react to swollen lips... yeah. And the word was octogenarian, I think. Refers to someone in their 80's. Tim's very broad-minded, lol.

People have fuller lips when we are younger, and they tend to thin out as we get older and produce less collagen (also why our skin gets wrinkly and more delicate). When people are aroused (not just for sex but also fear, excitement etc) their heart beats faster and increases blood flow, resulting in darker cheeks and lips. When people are turned on their pupils dilate, making eyes appear bigger and darker. Conventional make-up makes people look more attractive because it mimics these effects. It makes us look young and horny, and therefore like a good potential mate.

As a father of two, I am very familiar with what colostrum is. The word that slipped me up was "Octogenarian" which (as I learned) means "A person who is from 80 to 89 years old" I learn new things everyday!
