Meatless Pelau

Grateful Thankful Blessed Beyond !!
3/4 small onion
1 large carrot diced
3 large cloves garlic
8- 10 leaves culantro/ handful of cilantro
1 can pigeon peas
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp oil (optional)
2 1/4 cups broth ***
1 and 1/2 cups rice of your choice
1 tbsp ketchup (optional
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 and 1/2 tbsp of butter
*** In video I said 2 cups, but used 2 and 1/4 cups

I love love this bandania also I have a ton in my garden also , I planted some in my flower beds to keep away all the bugs .it's planted all around my home even around the pegion peas trees.
