PELAU ! - ONE POT MEAL

Pelau is a Trinbagonian classic ! As a Grenadian, i grew up enjoying this meal as well. PELAU is a rice dish,where you cook your rice down with browned meat. some add vegetables or keep it simple like i did in this video . Let me know down below how you like your Pelau.
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs chicken
seasonings for meat (chief green seasoning,onions garlic ,seasoning pepper ,thyme,scallions )
brown sugar .
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 cups Rice . preferably a hard rain rice . Carolina is a good brand
cole slaw ( shredded carrots,cabbage,mayo,pinch of sugar )

it really depends on much much servings you want. i reall dont meaure when im cooking things like that . but for 2 lbs chicken,id say about 3 ups rice .
