you may have found this out by now but I wanted to confirm, you can use this in inkscape. you have to set the settings to show how long the paper is in inkscape. When putting more than one design on the same paper, I hit print preview so I know it'll all print. That's where I learned that I have to change the paper properties in inkscape to get the longer one to print. I hope this helps

I have the 7720 & I tried this 3x instead of me printing 20 small pages * it just spit mt paper out & the error I get is that it has encountered an error and must quit. Any unsaved changes may be lost. I dont know what I'm doing wrong

no advantage it is personal preference. For me 2.2 produces dark tones

Not all printers allow from narrow sizes if your pinter does then yes. When you go to your user defined settings it shows what the min and max width and length is
