great video! does the soap go bad after awhile from the oatmeal and honey? if so how long does the soap last before it goes bad?
@NYCFamilyTV
@NYCFamilyTV 3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Mine didn’t go bad. How long they last depends on what ingredients and essential oil you use and how you store them. I believe handcrafted soap last 6months up to a year if stored properly.

Just checking. Did you add 5ml? 5ml is 1 tsp. You had tbsp not tsp. I did use a little more than 1tsp. I did not see you measure the fragrance. It looked like a very small about. I will post how it come out. Thanks so much. I used oatmeal and honey fragrance.

I used a medicine cup to measure for the fragrance oil and I poured 5ml in there. You can definitely add more or else than that depends on how strong you want the fragrance of your soap. Enjoy soapmaking!

It’s cuz that’s the traditional method of making soap and this is a pour and melt soap so the whole saponification process is done for you
@chiara6184
@chiara6184 Жыл бұрын
Like the above commentor said, this is melt and pour. Its soap that is already made, and has gone through the saponification process. It's then remelted and made again. Cold and Hot process soaps are made in the traditional way. I'm a soapmaker, and I make cold process soap.
