I shouldn't be laughing but the way she throws the ingredients on the bag really gets to me 😂

Arely Ramirez I love the violent bag & cam shaking! She shook it like an ugly red headed step child! 😅

Has anyone tried this with boneless, skinless chicken breasts. That's what I have on hand and wanted to make it for dinner tonight, sounds so delicious.
@Mauraworld7 жыл бұрын
Yes - and it's delish! Just reduce the cooking time to about 35 minutes (total) turning half way, and check the chicken to make sure it's cooked (BUT don't burn it)! So SO sorry for the late response. I hope you enjoy this!

this looks amazing. I would only use the peas if it was in a potato salad as a side.

Made for supper tonight. It was incredible! Love this recipe. Used only 1 cup of flour & still had plenty left over. Had some trouble with all the breading falling off when I flipped the chicken half way through, before adding the honey sauce. Maybe I wasn't supposed to flip it? - Anyhow, the breading made the sauce thicker & it was perfect tasting. Great recipe!

How would using thighs effect the cooking time?
@Mauraworld6 жыл бұрын
I've not tried this with thighs, but I would cut the cooking time in half - check the chicken after 30 minutes and if they are not done just bake them for another 15 minutes.
@markj20835 жыл бұрын
Boneless thighs roasted at 400F take between 40 to 45 min. Bone in thighs would take longer to cook and if you are cooking at a lower temp like 350F probably atleast 60 min or longer

Why do you need bone in?
@Mauraworld6 жыл бұрын
Ho Galcharlotte! You do not need bone in however - if you use boneless skinless make sure you bake for half the time (check to see that the chicken is cooked but not dry) but use the same method as far as seasoning goes. I think the bone in and skin on gives this chicken more flavor?

This is going to be tonight's dinner. Those chicken breasts in my fridge can't occupy space any longer.

@@Mauraworld I ended up making this for dinner last night. OMG, it was so delicious! I tasted the sauce as it was heating and I knew that the chicken would taste so so good. I had HUGE chicken breasts so there is one left over but not for long. I'm having it tonight before it gets taken by someone else. I made brown rice with baby carrots and green beans on the side. Thank you for the recipe!!
@knyboston685 жыл бұрын
This was EXCELLENT... Make sure the breasts you use are not giant! If they are bake a little longer in the beginning as sauce can begin to burn. Thank you for the recipe!! Will definitely make again!

Good point. For some reason my supermarket sells chicken breasts the size of basketballs.

I dont know why I laughed over how you tossed the seasoning in the begining. Thanks for the recipes.

Perhaps you laupher because my flinging ingredients into a ziplock bag is funny? :) Ziplocks are my go to for everything - I must have 20 boxes because I use them for everything from marinating, mixing, freezing and storage. Hope you try the recipe -- you'll love it!

what if you don't have Honey ? Can I subtitude it with something else ????

Hi Anita! It's Honey Baked Chicken and the main ingredient is honey. I've not tried it with a substitute, but you can try maple syrup. Let me know if this works for you.

Argh! I know - think it was my camera angle, and the BBQ sauce carmalized so that may be why it looks dark? But it was cooked perfectly. :)
