Honeybee layering florals are THE EASIEST AND MOST realistic, and I love that they have multiple ( buds or other perspectives). Love the cards!

I like how you cut what you need from the card stock pad and leave the pages intact. I usually pull then out and I’m left with a pile of loose mess of scraps !

I plan on getting packs of SSS's 6.75" square pockets: bit.ly/3yRbiPn - to put these pads and all my 6x6 patterned paper pads in. That way I can keep it all contained and not have to worry about loose pieces. I have done this before with other packaging but it isn't as durable as the pockets nor were they as big as the SSS pockets - so they wouldn't fit these bigger packs. I THINK these MB packs will fit in one pocket but if not I'll just split them into 2 pockets to make my life easier lol!

Lovely Layers are the easiest layered die cuts I have. I am not patient enough to do inlays or most layered diecuts but I love these.

I love watching you put together the lovely layers flowers, yet another stunning card. Have seen on Jennifer McG video about the piercing plates, once you have done it with the regular plates, run the plate through again with the tan embossing mat for more depth. 😊
@PrairiePaperandInk2 жыл бұрын
you can use the embossing mat with regular wafer dies to get the embossed impression - with the piercing plates it's pointless using the embossing mat IMO as the piercing plates don't cut they just pierce the design (and I don't see any need to get "more depth" with piercing plates like this but maybe I am missing something). Using the mat with dies tho (or like I did the other day using a hot foil plate with the embossing mat) gives a different look and more use out of the dies or hot foil plates

Thanks Amy for sharing. Could you do another card using this layering die, but use inks instead? Have a great weekend.

I have to say Honey Bee's lovely layer dies are my favorite. The embossed lines in the dies, and the easy layering just make them easy and perfect. I hadn't seen this set yet, but I must get it now. When you make cards every day, they truly brighten you life.

Okay, you keep your dies on the original packaging, (the tape doesn’t continue to stay sticky)how do you keep packaging on top to not stick! Your card-beautiful!
@PrairiePaperandInk2 жыл бұрын
oh they stick all the time lol - I just put my hand in the packaging and press up and it pulls away from the adhesive and I'm good to go. I'm more than ok with that little inconvenience while keeping all the dies more easily visible YKWIM?

When you put the foam tape in the back does it have to be right next to each strip or can you space them out more?
@PrairiePaperandInk2 жыл бұрын
they don't need to be right up against each other - you just don't want to space them out too much as pressure during mailing can cause dips. That said - with the Big Momma tape even with as much as I use to cover the entire backs it lasts for freaking ever lol. So I guess a good rule of thumb would be not to have spaces wider than say 1/2 the width of the tape itself? I don't really think about it when I'm using it 🤷🏻♀️
