I think that the honey’s ability to slow vertical movement without slowing horizontal movement is great, because there could be a very plausible way to make a chain sorting system using loops of hoppers and droppers/ dispensers, using the separate fall placements for each (dropper, dispenser) to quickly move the items into the hoppers, and maybe those hoppers could collect multiple items and sort them further from there, reducing the number of hoppers needed for the more general sorting, as moving the items physically in space doesn’t require hoppers.

Flying machines, chariots, item sorters, hidden scare cases, ability to shoot a hidden pressure plate between 2 pressure plates, and something I had never seen before ; A device to keep an Ender stone hovering in the air u til turned off, so the player can go exploring far, and then a friend can pull them home when they want by flipping a lever!

I have to agree the crafting needs to change some how, it's way to tedious to collect and store bottles of honey, let alone go through the crafting of them. If Mojan won't change the recipe at least give you more than 1 honey block at a time, perhaps 4?

Here’s a solution: Fill all slots of your inventory except for the first and second slots of your hotbar. (Just a single piece of cobblestone in each slot will do.) Leave the first slot empty and place a single honey block into the second. Drop a whole ton of honey bottles on the hopper, right above a chest with a glass bottle in each slot. Stand right there, where you will be crafting. Open your inventory crafting grid, hover over one of the slots, and press 1, moving the honey bottle into your crafting grid. Another honey bottle will immediately get picked up into that slot. Do the same with the other three slots. Shift-click the resultant honey block into your inventory (which will go into the second slot) and exit your inventory. The empty bottles will be dropped into the hopper into the chest (which will only accept glass bottles, since it is full.) Rinse and repeat. This isn’t the fastest method, but it’s definitely faster than the conventional method of putting the bottles in and then having to take them out.

The honey blocks ability to have things slowed down as they fall down the side could be a really useful game or challenge puzzle item. You can make it so that you have to throw the item at a certain angle to be able to make it into a hopper to unlock a door or something like that. Also I think it would be really interesting if you ever needed to get away from something you can have an emergency escape route that you can make two blocks wide that you can move in and out away from the honey and come back in to slow yourself down.

That's where honey block is bad, you still fall too fast, sure the horizontal speed is slowed, but you get even farther than with honey. On Timolia.de, go to jump world, I have made 4 maps I believe, just search for creator KittenKatja, in one of the maps I got a cobweb jump, that requires to take all the possible shortcuts to not fail. But of course you have to do the foreplay, too. Little tip before you join, don't join with your favorite version 1.8, go at least 1.9 on one of the maps is iron bars, that hold back 1.8 players and make 1.9+ players sneak by and even when you get it done in 1.8, the entrance to the building has soul sand, which 1.9+ players have no problem with and at the top of the building is an enchanting table jump, which is the main blockage for 1.8 players, as they can't pass it, it's just impossible. Not sure, but I think on one of the maps, I made a shortcut for each version, and the higher the version is, the shorter the shortcut, where as 1.12 should be the shortest.

cobwebs are used to slow the player and negate fall damage cleanly and i honestly can't imagine what else they can be used for, which slime blocks, water, and soul sand can be used to do. however, you could make wall running a real thing with honey blocks, which is completely unique to the honey block. in short this format is a joke, you are a joke, cobwebs are a joke, and this last bit is a joke. but actually don't use this dumb fucking format please
