I’ve watched you guys make hundreds of bees…this one sounds like it would be my favorite ever! More hops! Yes!

That's a beer I could drink...

Looks good. I brewed a "honey-rye pale ale" a couple of months ago that was awesome. Thanks for the video guys and keep up the good work!

These Friday episodes - ah heck any of them brighten my day. Thank you again fella's. Curious, when you pour honey in directly you'll get honey character but also everything that comes with the process of honey making right from the bee's, Did you get any Belgian funk? Charlie Papazian wrote about bringing the honey to a boil separately . Pulling off the froth would pull of all the Belgian funk.

@@YRFKDM8 Thanks! Mead makers would say boiling honey is a sin (although I’ve added honey to the boil in the past). There wasn’t anything funky in this beer. Just lots of tasty hops. 🍻

I’d be interested to see if subbing the honey for dextrose would yield the same results
@basicbrewingАй бұрын
@@marklpaulick It would be an interesting experiment. But I think the honey does make a difference in the flavor.
