Honey Maid S'mores (2017)

Shadowed by Post's other release of Oreo O's, new Honey Maid S'mores is just a rebranding of Malt-O-Meal's S'mores cereal. It's got a tasty flavor to it and it inspired me to try to recreate my favorite s'mores cereal of all time: S'mores Crunch.

General Mills actually makes a s’mores cereal with Golden Grahams & Cocoa Puffs, only it’s sold as a dry snack. Add milk and it’s delicious! You should do a vid on it.

Ive never tried the S'mores crunch, but I honestly think the Honeymaid ones are one of the best cereals I've ever had. To be fair Golden Grahams are already my favorite cereal ever so it just adds to that deliciousness.

S'mores crunch was my favorite cereal. Miss it deeply. I tried the Kellogg's one once. Was not thrilled. While I have not tried the honey maid branded variety, I do get the malto meal bag stuff. It's my current favorite cereal. I would give it up in a heartbeat for S'mores crunch. Man, I miss it so bad.

Hopefully you're still around to know that General Mills has brought S'mores Crunch back in January of 2024. It's on shelves now.

If General Mills doesn’t bring back S’Mores Crunch for Gabe, I’d at least suggest for them to make Lucky Charms S’Mores. It would be Golden Grahams in a honey and oat coating with the same marshmallow Charms.

OK, here is my results. I did a taste test of this breakfast honey made S'mores cereal by Post. And yes, this gets the record for flavor. I'd say that I am on the run in getting a good S'mores flavored cereal. In conclusion, if you want to make S'mores treats then golden grahams is the way to go besides chocolate and marshmallows.

I just had the MOM'S S'mores. It tasted like Golden Grahams with chocolate and Marshmallows. I also like the bags over the boxes, they have more cereal for less. If Post owns MOM, how about bagged versions of Grape Nuts (my favorite) and Shredded Wheat?

After recently seeing this video I got a box of this cereal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't compare to the other s'mores cereals you mentioned because I never had any of those but I can say I probably would not have tried the Honey Maid if not for your video. May your bowl always be full.

I haven't saw Honey Maid S'mores cereal in my local stores in Visalia yet, but I did try the Kellogg's Smorz cereal, it was delicious, it's the first s'mores cereal I've tried, maybe you should give Kellogg's Smorz cereal their own video, right?

Wow. Gabe actually predicted Nutter Butter and Chips Ahoy cereal less than a year earlier!! You can now make the 80's smores crunch cereal using Chocolate toast crunch, golden grams, and marbits!

S'mores Crunch never had regular Golden Graham pieces in it. It was chocolate covered Golden Grahams and marshmallows. That's it.

S'mores Crunch was one of my all-time favorite cereals. These new versions are never the same. Have you tried S'mores Girl Scout cookies? They were new last selling season. There's two versions actually. The ones we sold were so good.

I didn't try the Madagascar cereal but I at least thought the Honey maid one was better then that Smorz cereal... and I hope the Honey maid one stays around a bit. But I still agree they really haven't matched Smore's crunch.

Here's what I did. I opened the box of this cereal in this video you reviewed which is titled "Honey Maid S'mores." I think there is a reason why post's version of S'mores cereal is better than Kellogg's. Why? It's because of the smell when I opened the bag inside the box. It smells to me like combined flavor of Honey Maid graham crackers, Hershey's milk chocolate and Jet Puffed marshmallows.

Hey Gabe, thanks for the video. I just can't get excited about the s'mores cereals. Both the re-release of Smorz and Madagascar were let downs in my opinion. The recipes at the end were definitely interesting. It might be cool to do some additional videos either trying out other recipes or discussing the best cereal combinations.

Loved the video. Did I misinterpret you, or did you say this tasted the same as June Party? That is the best S'Mores flavored cereal I've tried, but I never had the pleasure of your favorite as far as I can recall. Also, my wife is a vegetarian, so I've been trying to come up with a homemade version of a S'Mores cereal as well. Do you think a different ratio of your first idea with melted chocolate might produce a better result? I'm thinking instead of melting it maybe just use Hershey's chocolate chips... I suppose I'll enjoy tasting the experiments so much it won't matter how many tries it takes to get it right ;)
