I think it is somewhat common sight to see someone filming police interactions, even if the situation has no relation to them.

Honnestly probably a good thing, keeps them honest when they seem to be able to not have or manipulate footage from their body cams when convenient. Posting embarrassing stuff online of a stranger is another thing though.
