@@hervedavidh4117 This is true. I was comparing this rendition to the original studio cut in my head the whole time. Not exactly the same, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the performance! Besides, it's not fair to expect this new crew to perform the song exactly as the original album, they need to add their own flavor to it.

Ich wollte euch sagen (und ich denke ich spreche im Namen vieler) dass ich mich bedanken möchte das ihr viele deutsche Volkslieder gesungen habt!. Lieder die von vielen Deutschen heutzutage leider vergessen werden. Die Kultur stirbt aus. Aber ihr helft sie zu bewahren!. I bought my first LP. 40 ago. I really like it that you sing the same arrangement . I felt it like it is valuable to the history of the group. Over generations but the new songs are fine. Always
