Honey Sticky Wing Recipe
2 1/2 - 3 lbs chicken wings
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
garlic powder to taste
onion powder to taste
paprika
salt to taste
pepper to taste
3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 lemon juiced
4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp black pepper
cayenne pepper to taste (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 tsp water
Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder. and paprika.
Combine the flour and cornstarch.
Season the flour with black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Dredge the chicken with the flour mixture, and shake off any excess.
Cook the chicken as preferred. (air-fried, baked, deep-fried)
Add honey to a skillet, along with pineapple juice, lemon juice, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Add cornstarch to water and combine. Add the mixture to the sauce.
Allow the sauce to thicken, and coat the chicken wings with the sauce.
Enjoy!!!
