I followed the exact recipe, but the dough was liquidy and tasted nothing like actual honeycomb bread.

Thanks for trying this recipe. My suggestion is to add thick milk while making dough. And if egg size is big in that case also dough becomes liquidy. Nothing to worry. In case if you feel dough becomes bit liquidy or thin you can add flour as required. For best result please use dry yeast.

Dear sister thank u for your query. Do not refrigerate the bread. what you said is correct. you can reheat it and pour the syrup 30 min before when ready to serve.
