To avoid thermal bridging through the steel framing into the structure, I recommend molding a layer of air-crete over the outside.

Watching you with your son reminded me of my dad teaching me as a kid. Those are the lessons that I remember and use regularly. He was an operating engineer and any time we drove somewhere and he saw a construction project that looked interesting he'd pull over and we'd go check it out. Bridges especially. He taught me the hows and whys of basic structure and mechanical advantages and knots and so many foundational ideas. The details didn't stick but the ideas did. His biggest gift to me was teaching me curiosity about the hows and whys of things, and to learn everything I could and realize that it can interconnect in unexpected ways. I'll always miss being able to hug him, but he's always in my heart and mind. I just wish I had liked math better, lol. But I know that a triangle is the strongest structural shape, and working in a carnival breaking down and setting up rides the triangle is almost universal in the structure and stability of rides. Teach your kids to love learning and their lives will never be boring or unfulfilling.

You mentioned to your son about teaching him the "---------- laws of torque", it sounded like you said "Ratcliff" is that correct? Keep up the great work!

Wow…so excited to see the progress! I’ve been wanting to build with aircrete, but there’s not a lot of good structural information out there. You guys are one of the very few…so I’ll be watching 🥰
