Glad I found your video. We just bought a Honeywell fan and the receiver had red and white wires instead of black and white. I ended up calling Honeywell to verify that we had the correct receiver.

@@DJ.Sparks.Studio it was more work than it needed to be although it turned out fine. It took us two days to read the papers over completely and watch videos to understand it. Then on the third day there was light. It was a three hour job. I’ll probably buy a couple more for the other bedrooms but next time we’ll make it a fall or winter project. We are 70 year olds so if we can do it most others can as well.

The only thing I might add is that a ceiling fan mount should use a outlet box made for ceiling fans because the screws are 8-32 or larger instead of 6-32 for a standard lamp because of the extra torgue of moving fan blades

I think your fan is able to move 5736 Cubic Feet Per Minute of air flow. I decided on purchasing one like yours because of that. Some of the ones I saw that cost far more are kind of lame in comparison at around 4223 Cubic Feet Per Minute. I haven't put mine in yet. It ought to make for cool night sleeping.

This looks very similar to the fan I am wanting to get. I am worried about the amount of light it gives off In a large room since the light is kinda "recessed" or flat like yours

To be honest, I hate the light since it's so dim, so I never use it. Although, I've seen many ceiling fan lights have this same problem. I always like to have a combination of recessed lights surrounding it and a fan in the middle.

Put one in today, directions have you wiring the receiver first, don't do that, put the receiver in place with the ball connected to the holder first, slide receiver in and wire it.
