Hi John - Appreciate this and your other videos! Two questions I'd love to hear your thoughts on that's been confusing me with setting a schedule and that the operation manual to zero to explain in detail: 1) The "inactive" mode for each schedule period. It's not clear to me what that does. Let's say I want to set a steady "cool" schedule during the day and overnight (with no heat) that changes slightly depending on the time. Understand how to plug in the "active" cool temperature, but I have no idea what to do with the heat "inactive" option, since I don't want heat at all. 2) If I want a schedule that alternates between heat (overnight) and cool (daytime). Do I have to change what mode (heat/cool) the thermostat is set to, go in and make that overnight (heat) period, save my way back to the main menu, change the active mode to "cool," and then go back into that schedule in order to set the next period as "cool"? Hope that makes sense. These are new thermostats for me and am a bit baffled how to get them set up properly. Your tutorials have been great!

Nice video especially since I was never left a manual. I live in Florida. Can I set a schedule for only cool and leave the heat on manual? I rarely use the heat but if I do I like to just run it for a short time. Thank you.

How do you display the Humidity on the T5? Mine doesn't show it or even have an option to show it

If your A/C refrigerant charge is correct it will dry out the air as its cooling the home other wise you might have to get a dehumidifier if your air is very damp

This video doesn’t help I’m not looking for the schedule what I’m looking for is how to operate it because I have a heat pump and I don’t know the right code for my heat pump. Where should I set it for? It’s so many different options.

They suck heat sensor issue then blank screen. Don’t buy. Honeywell sucks
