Picked one up at goodwill for 7 bucks. Works just need a new filter and a deep clean. I will see how it fairs out for me personally.

I'm looking to filter air in small room with a coal furnace. To be clear I'm trying to pull coal dust out of the air. Is there any purifier that you recommend for this application?

So, Honeywell couldn't spend the extra money to put 1,2 or 3 beside the confusion fan speed settings.....also the downside should be no prefilter....we know they make their money off the filters, which wears out sooner if there is no prefilter......
