I appreciate your video. I changed the battery but I still have the pyramid with an ! Why? Please reply. Thank you.
@HowYouCanDoItToo Жыл бұрын
I hope this will work cause it didn’t happen to mine. I read where this can happen and try this method. If you still have the old batteries great if no you will need two more for this method to hopefully clear the pyramid with an ! Turn system off take batteries back out wait 10 seconds put them back in (old batteries if you still have them) wait 10 seconds take them back out again and put them in backwards to reverse polarity wait 10 seconds take them out put totally new batteries in the right way not the ones you just took out backwards. That should clear the pyramid. I googled this symptom and sounds weird but it is what they say to do. I hope this helps let me know please. Tony

mine keeps going to the reset date screen after I change the temp. does this mean I should change the batteries, the backlight seems pretty flickery too. I don't see a low battery indicator though

Hi, Changed the battery but the AC still not kicking on. Also, the Warning Triangle is still there. Any suggestions.

Sorry for late response. It definitely sounds like another problem. I am not an a/c person. I googled it for you and there is so many different things it can be. Some sound simple and some will require a a/c technician. So sorry I can’t give good advice on your situation. 😢

Thanks. I've changed the battery but the triangle symbol is still on. Any ideas?? Thanks.
@HowYouCanDoItToo8 ай бұрын
Hello, I’m not an ac guy but looked it up and if it’s still on it could be just a reminder code like replace air filter based on hours run. Here is what I read to check triangle code to look up. Press menu and keep pressing until ALRT shows on display and press Select and it will show what alerts are present. It could be as simple as battery still low, replace air filter, service pump. And mostly a reminder. I just know learned this trying to help you. There is a reminder snooze too. But google your ALRT code to see. Take care and I so hope this helps you, Tony

What if my mode button doesn't work
@HowYouCanDoItTooАй бұрын
Hello I wish I could help on that because it can be multiple reasons wires not connected, buttons stuck, need to factory reset, batteries can still be bad or low, bad thermostat, I’m just not sure I know this doesn’t help cause I always do my best but yours is too many variables to guess at. I do hope you can get it fixed and I’m sure you’ve watched a million videos and mine is only showing replacement of batteries. Please let me know, Tony

@HowYouCanDoItToo Жыл бұрын
I am trying to figure out why you are having trouble taking it off if it is the same model series. Even on different models they never make it difficult to replace the batteries. Definitely make sure you are only pulling on the front section not grabbing the base that is fastened to the wall. Almost makes me wonder if someone before you did something. I truly wish I could see check it out and help you.
@SmilingIbis Жыл бұрын
@@HowYouCanDoItToo I only pulled on the square thing that sits on top of the base thing that sits flush with the wall. I pulled pretty hard but it would not move at all. I'll have to call my home service company Monday.
@SmilingIbis Жыл бұрын
@@HowYouCanDoItToo Well, the service technician came over and he found it really hard to yank off the wall too. He thought it was unusually difficult to pull off. However, since it still works, they won't replace it under warranty. 🙄
@LTee1269 ай бұрын
I'm having the same issue - how did your technician end up getting it off the wall? Did they just yank it really hard?
