Just bought HYF500 but with HY550 manual. It mentions a “Remote Control Storage” (p.7, fig.14) but I can’t find it on the fan itself -no storage much less a remote control. Is it on the HY550 but not on the HYF500?

The remote only comes with the FY550, The 550 instead of physical knobs for fan speeds are digital buttons

If you turn this off through a smart plug when it’s on the fixed setting, will this fan remember that setting and go back to it when I turn the smart plug back on? I want to make sure I don’t have to manually turn this on each time I power off the smart plug. Thank you!

The top fan has four settings, off, low, medium, high. The lower fan has the same four settings, so the number of combinations is 4 x 4 = 16: 1 off & off 2 off & low 3 off & medium 4 off & high 5 low & off 6 low & low 7 low & medium 8 low & high 9 medium & off 10 medium & low 11 medium & medium 12 medium & high 13 high & off 14 high & low 15 high & medium 16 high & high I guess off & off isn't considered a setting...but heck, if you're going to count comfort settings in a laughable way like this...might as well count all off as a setting, too, LOL!
