Hi it was a very helpful video. Can you tell me what were the documents required to update your passport address? Also, did you need to update the same in your Aadhar and bank accounts as well?

Just incase if anyone else is wondering how to check your city is whitelisted, Apply a PAR with dummy data nothing related but mention your correct place of birth(not mandatory but for safer side) & your current city for passport place of issue. If your PAR gets successful, you are good to go 😄 If not, Applying visa is the only way.

Wat about the place of stay in PAR ? Is it mandatory book the place which is mentioned in PAR or we can change the place of stay later?

@@Niyateerao to be honest, it's better to book your stay first and fill the PAR. At immigration they didn't ask the stay details to me but if they did & there is a mismatch, it could lead to problems. Let's give the right details to avoid any issues.

Hlo sit, Meri connecting flight h china to India via hongkong around 22 hr layover and PAR is unsuccessful still I need transit visa if I will not leave airport transit area

@@pratibhapanchal646 ooooo I don't think you will need PAR for transit. I remember during my trip to Japan in 2023, I had a transit in Hong Kong for 6 hours & when I contacted my airline, they said a Transit visa for Hong Kong is not required so I didn't take a PAR & had no issues. You can call your airline and check about it. Mostly you won't need the transit visa for Hong Kong in my opinion.

@@soubhikdutta6184 oooo probably Kolkata is not in their whitelisted spot. E visa would be your option in that case.

@@sanjaypradeep Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. but my travelling date is near. So I cant change/renew my passport now :(

@@kirtanasathyanarayanan3208 ooo I'm not sure if Coimbatore will be in the whitelisted cities so Passport reapply would not be an option Applying for an E Visa will be the way. If the travel date is too near, it's better to reschedule your plans & incur a flight date change loss.

My husband's passport has place of issue as Delhi, still it got rejected. Can this be because his last name is Singh??

@@AnkitaDixit-yo6ix ooo no, not at all !! Probably Delhi is not in the whitelisted region. Maybe because of the bad reputation which I mentioned in the video, they removed Delhi from the list.

@@AnkitaDixit-yo6ix ooo that's very bizarre ! I didn't read anything about any other filtering. I would suggest trying with dummy data to confirm ? Don't mention your correct passport no & change the name to "RandomName Singh" to confirm your theory. Mostly it won't be with respect to names. Even the place of birth won't be applicable because I mentioned mine under the Others category.

@@sanjaypradeep Tried that always getting unsuccessful. Now trying to get HONGKONG VISIT visa. but My husband has only GIVEN NAME in passport and not surname. While applying for VISIT VISA it is showing invalid format if surname is not added as format is SURNAME, [GIVEN NAME] what should we do??

@@AnkitaDixit-yo6ix 1. As I understand, the SURNAME in the passport is empty ? 2. Also is this your husband's first time travelling abroad ? Just want to make sure there were no visa issues previously for other countries. 3. Okay I noticed PAR Surname is not mandatory so that's good. You can ping me on Instagram: sanjaycollectibles, I'm not an expert but can try to see why PAR is failing for you. I tried with dummy data for Delhi without Surname and it worked successfully.

@@JatinKumar-wg7do oooo understood, you are staying in hostels. Better to look for a room share in flats then 😅 Staying in hostels, you can't even file HRA for IT purpose.
