M-trains for me. I grew up with them. Before the refits. They were the first and original rolling stock. For many years, they were the only trains on the MTR. They WERE the MTR.

Then, there are the Cammell EMUs, on the East Rail line. They were the first trains post-electrification of the KCR. They looked very different then, and the KCR was separate from the MTR.

@@world-train-lab3968 That's the South Island Line, not the island line. If u want to see it above ground, it has a section from Heng Fa Chuen to Chai Wan which is above ground. The Island line is Dark Blue in color. Run from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan
