+ProjectSoul Omg STFU. People don't vlog in Asia. So when you do people is going to watch and look at you. So get over it and get over yourself. If you see something interesting you don't see often you will look and stare too.
@djmidori8 жыл бұрын
+ProjectSoul in HK we're not used to having cameras around especially not common to see vloggers constantly talking to the camera while eating. TBH I wish I've seen Mike around that area.

+school edu Tell me honestly how many vlogers have you seen in your life?
@eazon8 жыл бұрын
+school edu I myself have also seen 0 and I live in San Francisco. You might think that when you see one you won't look and stare but I bet you you will look and think to yourself "hey look there's someone vloging right there" and smile or even laugh at them, in no way trying to be mean or disrespectful. But you will and thats fine. But when you see others look and state let them look and stare and don't be annoyed by it. The people that are annoyed are the ones that care way too much about how others looks and thinks of themselves. Don't be like that and be a more understanding and confident person.

Man, looks sooo good... Reminds me of when my late grandma would make that EXACT same rice with the chicken, sausage and preserved pork belly for my lunch.. After eating the rice, we would scrape the crispy rice on the bottom after letting it sit on the flame for a bit and add some salt to it before eating... Miss that soooo much... Eating it at restaurants don't even come close for some reason..
@jduvieusart7 жыл бұрын
Thanks to you, I've been in the exact same restaurant to eat the exact same dish. I must say the taste of the sausages was a bit too strong for me but the rice crispiness, the tasty lard and the homemade sauce made that dish really worth it. Besides, being the only white guy that night and thefeore knowing I was not eating in a tourist attraction made it specially great. Thank for the tip!

The best about the cured sausages is, when they are sliced up thinly so it can release the lard and flavor into the rice. Also the dark sausage may have partly been made with liver.

Hey mike, just a tip, it seems like at the end of your videos when you have previews of your other videos they aren't clickable. For example at the end of this video you have a preview of when you went to the Bao Zai Fan place in NYC but I can't click and watch the video. You would probably get more views if you actually make the videos clickable for instant watchability.

Nah not that extreme, but there’s definitely a lot of deserved hate for rude/negligent mainland tourists that can’t help pushing in lines, bumping into everyone with no apologies. I bet the Europeans feel the exact same about Chinese tourists. There’s hate for the uncultured and rude, which you as an abc aren’t a part of, so chill. Though it’s known fact that customer service sucks in Hong Kong if you aren’t in an expensive restaurant

@Animemus8 жыл бұрын
Well it's due to cultural and political differences between certain areas in China and mainland China. Hong Kong became a colony of the United Kingdoms and Macau became a colony of Portugal. People in Hong Kong later gained a superiority complex because of the European influences. Eventually Hong Kong and Macau returned to China, but the cities worked differently. Look up "One country, two systems". Basically Hong Kong and Macau would still be part of China and they could keep their culture. Even though Hong Kong is a part of China, people from Hong Kong technically are not Chinese citizens and can't immigrate into the mainland and vice versa.
