The Light Rail network is a one of a kind system in Hong Kong that operates in the Northwestern New Territories and serves the areas of Tuen Mun, Tin Shui Wai, and Yuen Long.

Actually as a hongkonger, probably some test trains would have 3 cars but mostly its always 1 or 2 cars in service.

I have a suggestion, for reading out the route number, e.g. 751P, you can say seven-five-one-P instead of seven hundred and fifty-one P

The route 751P is actually a special route.It runs during peak hours.Also there are blue processors to check the balance of your octopus.There is a station in Tuen mun which is Yau Oi.It has only one platform because route 751 ends there.When it starts, there is a turn so it goes to on ting whoch it skips when going to yau oi. So that is why there is only on eplatform there.Maybe there are other stations that only have one platform.

Stations like Shan King (N) & Shan Ming (S) for 505 to Siu Hong has only one platform; 505 in the route to Siu Hong skips Ming Kum to Shek Pai whilst 505 in the route to Sam Shing skips Shan King by going with 610, 615 and 615p to Shekpai, Ming Kum then Kin On.

There used to be a blue processer that could be used for checking balance on your octopus card,and there's also a weird round about near chestwood station, and 751p is the only line that is not visible on the LRT map

@@hiddenhongkong I have even more things to say. Sometimes when announcements are made in trains before some stations, it goes like this " this LRV is the route 751." Before the announcements of what train route to take if you want to get to another station that's not on the route and doesn't say LRT. Trains between tuen mun and Yuen long are more likely to have 1 car trains, even if they have longer distance, eg: 751 to Yau oi, 610 to Yuen long. Yau oi station is the only station that I know that has one platform.however, there might be other stations Fun fact about chestwood station: it's the only station where the train is expected to be late and the only one where there are still stickers of the tuen ma line opening and map changing still in place.

Singapore 🇸🇬 also have 2 Automatic Driverless LRT Trains systems of the older SMRT Bukit Panjang LRT and SBS Transit Sengkang and Punggol LRT systems ,both incoporated Bus 🚌 and Taxi 🚕 transport networks.

If it would, then I think they should add Pok oi hospital station/ reopen tin wing station as a Terminus

It was postposed to build few more extensions in Tuen Mun and Yuen Long areas. The LRT system would extend from Sam Shing Terminus to Chi Lok and Golden Coast area in Tuen Mun. And the other extension postposed was to extend LRT from Yuen Long to Long Ping Estate. LRT was even postposed extend to Tsuen Wan area. However, since the West Rail Line was deemed as a better and more cost-effective way to fulfill the needs of residents. Thus, those plans were abandoned. You can still see some reversed area in current LRT system. Like unused area in Sam Shing Terminus, an unused part of T-intersection near Pui To Stop.
