The most memorable about TST was, as a kid in the late 60's and early 70's, feeling sleepy in the back seat of our car, as it crept toward the vehicular ferry back to Hong Kong Island, where I lived in grew up. The hope was to get into the ferry before it filled up otherwise we had to wait for the next one, or even the one after that. Even the first cross harbor tunnel was not yet built. From Hong Kong Island to Yuen Long was a very long distance trip, taking three hours, going thru Castle Peak Road. A Western restaurant Ruby, 红宝石, was in the area. A few times we eat dinner there. I don't remember if it were in TST, but certainly close to TST A few old Hong Kong movies included it. Image of it still exists.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon to HK & Macau in Aug 2018. We stayed at the Park Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. We used to walk these streets almost everyday. The street food shop at 7:00 was our regular haunt as this was the only place where we could find food at 12 o'clock at night. And i remember the lady sitting down behind the counter at 7:12 used to be super busy cooking and serving everyone as this place used to be crowded even at night. Feeling so nostalgic! Thank you for this! Love from Mumbai, India!

one of my favorite things to do when I first get to a new place or city when travelling is to check in at the hotel to drop everything off in the room and and go out for a little walk like this, just to get a layout of what's around and let all the sights and sounds soak in...then stop in somewhere on the way back to the hotel that you noticed looked interesting earlier for some local food and drink.

Thank you for showing us this beautiful city. Loved it. 🇨🇳👌👍😀🙏

Tsim Sha Tsui Chung King Mansions, the beginning of the video...I used to lived there on the 18th floor back in 1978. A place where there's a lot of escort, bars, massage parlors, cops as well as Triads members at night. On the basement level there was a night club named China City, we saw quite a bit of good looking girls and wealthy people hanging out there every night. Despite the area was like red light district it was indeed pretty safe to live there.

Stayed there in Chungking mansion Dec of 2020, :-). I hope it's gonna be as bustling after the pandemic because my wife and I will surely be back.

Miss the city! We were there back in Dec of 2018. We stayed in one of the guesthouses along Nathan Road and the location was very optimal - it was near the A21 stop, an MTR station, a 711, a bank, and fast-food restaurants (for a quick meal) We had planned to go back then the riots happened and of course dear ole COVID reared its ugly head after. Hopefully by 2023 COVID would be gone or be very manageable and quarantines are not necessary so we can go back.

Haven't been here yet but all I can see is all the places here are just the same, Just Tall Bldgs with Hanged Clothes in The Balcony and Windows but I must Say Shouson Hill Deep Water Bay is the Best Place to live in HK or all the Near in the Beach.
