This was the best time of Solomon Islands. The town was clean and green. No beliga. Jobs were available, no pothole on the road even backway roads. Honiara now is not like used to be.

I'm glad you liked it. I passed through Honiara many times (as I lived on Bougainville Island). I always enjoyed the place. Travelling on the coastal boat almost back to Bougainville was one of my best travel experiences.

Thanks for the video Mr. Bob Jackson. Slight error there...the brief stop is not Gizo but Munda. The Adventist Mission war relics are actually at the Betikama Adventist High School known as Betikama School War Relics. Thanks. Philip Szetu.

Hello Philip, I made the journey in 1977 so you are right, some details are getting a bit hazy.
@philipszetu30803 жыл бұрын
@@bobjackson4720 yes I know. The old Quonshet Hut used as a passenger terminal was at Munda. Your video brings back alot of memories to most of us...1977 being my second year with Solair then, in Honiara. Thanks Bob.
