Honing Miata Engine Cylinders in Home Garage

How is this engine running today? I need to rebuild my NB2 bottom end since the oil rings are stuck. I just went to Thunderhill East on Saturday running 20W-50 to not burn so much oil 😂. I’m hoping it’ll last until I go to Laguna on Dec 30th and then I can rebuild it after. I want to use the flex hone too since I have good compression.
