Not gona lie this is the best tier list i have seen in a long time, like i have seen some other tier list that some creators make and they are horrible like i see a guy saing that firefly is C tier the worst dps in the game for some reason and he has no idea what makes her good and just hates her and thats why he put in that tier. This one is 100% facts about all the cast, like i love that there is no dps in the flexible tier because the is none is just simple it is there is no dps that can work outside his own arquetipe, or can be great in like 3 team comps or more. Like really good job in making this tier list 👍

I think my only disagree is fuxuan, yes shes literally flexible but I don't think she's up to the standards of the other units in that tier. I'm not convinced at e0 she's even much better than gepard, and dies to high aoe damage boss moves, so I dont think 10% crit is enough to really make her that tier

I could see that. I don’t have her myself so I mostly judged her on watching team showcases involving her and hearing how she performs/feels from people who use her. She has a lot of unique mechanics in her kit with her HP manipulation and crit rate, and I think if Hoyo messes with HP manipulation again in the future like with Fontaine in Genshin, Jingliu, Blade, and her could see indirect buffs, but that’s just speculation from me. I probably should’ve moved her down a tier from Aventurine in general, since he far outclasses the other 4 preservation units in overall utility (I use him or Lingsha in almost everything at this point).

@ e0s0 Lingsha is more break team focused. I think Aventurine works only slightly worse in non-follow up attack teams than in them at e0s0, whereas Lingsha is more noticable between break and non-break teams. My Lingsha is e0s1, which gives her a %dmg debuff as well as more stats from the cone itself. I think at e0s0 she is comparable with Gallagher in any situation you’d use them, if not slightly outshined by e6 Gallagher in specific cases (though like 8/10 times Linghsa>Gallagher), and e0s0 Aventurine and Huohuo are more useful in general scenarios than both. I think she may eventually be of equal use as Huohuo if more characters receive non-energy based ultimates like Acheron and Feixiao, but that would be more Huohuo falling off slightly than Lingsha rising. Lingsha could see an increase in value if summons receive buffs soon… but for now at e0s0 she is slightly, though noticeably, less useful in general than the sustainers at the top. With me generally using FuA on one side of content, and break on the other, I use her as I mentioned in the original comment. As an aside I also use her in my favorite casual team, with her and Jade being the core synergy to AoE clear simulated universe content, but from testing myself that team is not consistent with e1s0 Jade e0s1 Lingsha outside of simulated universe, so I’d imagine their e0s0 equivalents aren’t that much different.

Just wanted to mention that I’ll keep replying to comments, and that in these replies I’m just clarifying my thoughts on the topics, not trying to be argumentative or anything if it comes across like that, since the list is my personal thoughts on the characters having played the game since launch, not some super in-depth 100% accurate ranking based on tested calcs or anything.

My only big disagree is saying gepard is the worst standard. Yanquing is considerably worse

At e0s0, Gepard generally performs his role as a sustainer more effectively than Yanqing does as a DPS. So if we’re comparing their strengths in their specific roles, Gepard has the edge. However, I’d still recommend building Yanqing before Gepard because there are other characters-like Lynx, Gallagher, and arguably March 7th-who fulfill similar or better roles than Gepard and are accessible to most players. For that reason, even if Gepard is your first 5-star, it might be better to invest in these other units unless you aren’t getting new characters for a while. Yanqing has his own limitations as well, given that characters like The Hunt March 7th, Xueyi, and Herta (in certain content) often bring more value. However, Yanqing offers some unique type coverage and can be used somewhat effectively alongside The Hunt March 7th in specific team setups. If you’re at the point of having every character available, neither Gepard nor Yanqing would be particularly high-priority investments. That said, Yanqing has slightly better scaling potential through eidolons.

@@unpaused47gepard has the highest taunt value so hes an easy shoe-in for trend acheron teams in pure fiction. I'm not even being hypothetical either, I have used him that exact way in most pure fictions.
